Rev 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).
“Hardly a day goes by when our senses are not bludgeoned by some new outbreak of terrorism in the Middle East. Despite our best efforts at making and keeping the peace, political, economic, and religious tensions often lead to unrest, violence, and riots.”
-Jim Bakker in “Prosperity and the Coming Apocalypse”
Al Qaeda sources told the BBC they were behind a homicide bomber attack in Yemen that killed at least 90 people.
The homicide bomber ran into a crowd preparing for a military parade wearing an army uniform. He apparently targeted a group of soldiers near the Presidential palace.
Hospital officials are claiming that 222 people were injured in the massive bombing. It’s the deadliest attack in the country’s capital since February’s presidential election. One of the country’s security chiefs was fired over the incident.
A soldier told the Associated Press it was a “massacre”.
“There are piles of body parts, heads and limbs. It’s unbelievable.”
The parade practice was preparing for the country’s “National Unity Day” on Tuesday to celebrate the reunification of north and south Yemen.
