Anti-Christian Group Enraged At Christian Teen Who Defied Them

The anti-Christian Freedom from Religion Foundation attacked a teenager for his “open defiance” of their edict that Liberty High School in Pickens, South Carolina have no Christian content in their graduation ceremony.

Roy Costner, valedictorian of the 2013 class, threw away the speech he had prepared and submitted to the school and led everyone in The Lord’s Prayer. A video of the speech posted on YouTube has gone viral showing the crowd cheering as Costner set aside his speech. (more…)

Community Rallies Around “In God We Trust”

When the anti-Christian Freedom from Religion Foundation threatened the E.J. Moss Intermediate School over a production of “In God We Trust”, school administrators removed all references to religion from the script.

But the community of Lindale, Texas were not about to let anti-Christian bigotry stop their children from proclaiming the name of Christ. (more…)

School District Appealing Decision To Let Cheerleaders Use Bible Passages

Cheerleaders at a Texas school were stunned to learn that the school board is going to appeal a judge’s decision permitting Bible verses to be used on football banners.

“We think the attorneys on the other side are reading into the court’s decision rights that just aren’t there,” Tom Brandt, attorney for the school district, told the Beaumont Enterprise. (more…)

Anti-Christians Force Removal Of Ten Commandments

The anti-Christian Freedom From Religion Foundation obtained their wish and intimidated the Muldrow, Oklahoma public schools into removing plaques of the Ten Commandments that had been placed in classrooms for decades.

The superintendent of the Muldrow Public Schools told Fox News they had no choice but to remove the plaques. (more…)

Students Fighting For Ten Commandments

The anti-Christian organization Freedom From Religion Foundation descended on the small Oklahoma town of Muldrow demanding that schools remove plaques of the Ten Commandments from classrooms. They claimed that an “anonymous” member of the community had filed a complaint.

What the FFRF didn’t count on was the students fighting back against the anti-Christian bullying. (more…)

Judge Rules In Favor of Bible Banners

A judge has sided with a group of cheerleaders at a Texas high school who wanted to display banners at football games with Bible verses.

“[No law] prohibits cheerleaders from using religious-themed banners at school sporting events,” State District Judge Steve Thomas ruled Wednesday. (more…)

Anti-Christian Group Successful In Removing Jesus Portrait From School

The anti-Christian group Freedom from Religion Foundation has succeeded in removing a picture of Jesus from a southern Ohio school.

The FFRF, along with the ACLU, had sued the Jackson City School District to remove a portrait of Jesus that hung in the middle school’s “Hall of Honor” on behalf of a student and parents who refused to be identified. (more…)

A national anti-Christian organization is demanding an Oregon city remove a Vietnam War memorial because it contains a cross.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation says government officials in Coos Bay, Oregon are violating the mythical separation of church and state by creating the memorial to Vietnam veterans 41 years ago. (more…)

Christian Student Club Moves Jesus Picture Anti-Christian Group Wanted Removed

A painting of Jesus that has hung in a southern Ohio middle school for 65 years is being moved after complaints from the anti-Christian Freedom From Religion Foundation and the ACLU. However, much to the dismay of the anti-Christian forces, the painting is being moved to the high school.

Members of the Hi-Y club, who originally put up the picture in 1947, are moving the photo to the high school where their members currently attend and meet. The middle school originally was the high school for the school district. (more…)
