Pakistan Terror Bombing Kills 8

The Taliban continued to attack political parties and civilian groups ahead of Pakistani elections, killing 8 and wounding at least 40 in a homicide bomb attack in Peshawar, Pakistan.

Pakistan Troops Rush To Earthquake Site

Pakistan troops are rushing to a remote region of the Balochistan province to help with rescue efforts after a massive 7.8 magnitude quake.

The region is at least 10 hours from the provincial capital by car and the route is extremely dangerous. Rescue groups have been hesitant to travel because of Islamic extremists who routinely kidnap travellers on that road. (more…)

Strongest Earthquake In 50 Years Shakes Iran; Pakistan; Afghanistan

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake centered in Iran reached three countries resulting in fatalities in at least two.

The quake, centered near the Iranian cities of Khash (population 180,000) and Saravan (population 250,000), struck approximately 3:14pm local time Tuesday. The earthquake was measured at a depth of almost 60 miles. The Iranian Fars news agency said on the surface the quake had the impact of a 4.0 surface quake. (more…)

Pakistan Army Kills 15 Taliban Terrorists

The Pakistan army reportedly killed 15 Taliban terrorists yesterday in Tirah Valley as part of a military offensive aimed at forcing the Taliban from the region.

In the last week the army claims to have killed more than 100 terrorists. The Taliban had allied with a local militia and increased their presence in the region. (more…)

Police in Pakistan have arrested an Islamic couple who have admitted killing their 18-year-old daughter in an “honor killing.”

Car Bombs and Suicide Killers

Violence in the form of car bombs and terrorist suicide bombers continue to ignite areas across the Middle East from Pakistan to Baghdad. This kind of human destruction seems to be an everyday occurrence.

Police sources told the BBC that Shia areas in Iraq were hit by deadly car bombs killing 48 in the capital of Baghdad and wounding more than 150 this week and the week has only just begun. (more…)

Terrorists Kill Four In Pakistan

One day after Pakistan celebrated the first full term by a government in the country’s history, Islamic terrorists have killed at least four people in an attack on a court complex in Peshawar.

Christian Homes Burned in Pakistan

Over this past weekend, Pakistani Police arrested about 150 people accused of burning dozens of Christian houses. Reportedly these attacks occurred after a non-Muslim (Christian) was accused of making offensive comments about Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.

The police responded as Christians gathered together in protest against the massive destruction. The Christian demonstrators blocked a highway in Lahore, Pakistan demanding assistance from the government, as police fired teargas trying to disperse the crowd. (more…)
