President Barack Obama admitted that he has seen evidence of chemical weapons being used in Syria.

However, he said that after speaking with the prime minister of Turkey that it was important to get more specific details about the attacks. His statement comes as residents of a town in northern Syria told the BBC that Syrian troops dropped poison gas canisters from helicopters. (more…)

Mount Herman is located in northern Israel. It’s a beautiful setting but parts of the Golan can be very dangerous. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, “Hermon” means a “Forbidden Place.” However, Israeli Defense Forces moved into the Golan Heights with heavy equipment this week because of the Syrian threat.

The atmosphere is tense and anything could happen. Russia sent 12 warships to Syria, apparently as a warning to Israel and to Western officials who might be thinking about military intervention against President Assad. A double car bombing in Turkey is suspected as being the work of the Syrian Intelligence agency.

Turkish government officials say the bombs have the marks of Syrian Intelligence and come days after Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan told world media that his country had proof Syria had used chemical weapons on their citizens. (more…)

Turkey’s prime minister is making a bold claim that the Syrian government has used chemical weapons against citizens that it crosses the “red line” declared months ago by U.S. President Barack Obama.

“It has been passed a long time ago,” Recep Tayyip Erdogan told NBC News’ Ann Curry during an exclusive interview on Thursday.  ”We want the United States to assume more responsibilities and take further steps. And what sort of steps they will take, we are going to talk about this.” (more…)

The head of the terrorist group Hezbollah told a gathering in Beirut that Syria is going to be providing their group with “game-changing weapons” less than a week after alleged Israeli airstrikes destroyed a shipment of Iranian missiles that were being transported out of Syria.

Israel has not admitted being behind the strikes but did say that they would strike against any shipment of missiles bound for the terrorist group. (more…)

Syrian state TV announced that President Bashar al-Assad had activated Palestinian groups to attack Israel.

Media linked to the terrorist group Hezbollah, however, stated that only “popular committees” had been formed by Lebanon and Syria in response to Israel’s attacks in Syria and that those committees are “ready to fight Israel.” (more…)

The government of Syria is accusing Israel of working with a group that has called for the deaths of all Jews in a bombing raid against Syrian military targets.

The Syrian foreign ministry said that Israel was working with the al-Qaeda affiliated group al-Nusra. (more…)

Syria has stationed missile batteries aimed at Israel in the aftermath of alleged Israeli air strikes in the country, the website of Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen TV, considered close to the regime of President Bashar Assad, quoted a top Syrian official as saying on Sunday.

The report came as Syrian Information Minister Omran Zoabi said on Sunday that alleged Israeli air strikes against three targets on the outskirts of Damascus “open the door to all possibilities.”
