Seven NATO Troops Killed In Afghanistan

Seven NATO forces have died in two attacks over the weekend according to a NATO spokesman.

The deaths come as the Taliban has announced their “spring offensive” against in an attempt to undermine the current Afghani government as NATO begins to remove troops.  The Afghani military is expected to be given total control in 2014.

About 100,000 troops are still in the country. (more…)

Taliban Conducts Summary Amputations As It Enforces Sharia Law

With the deadline for American and allied troops to leave Afghanistan a year away, reports from the Herat province show the Taliban is reinstituting a brutal form of Sharia Law.

In mid-March, two men were kidnapped by Taliban fighters and taken to a base where they were held for 27 days without explanation. On the morning of the 28th day, the men were taken to a room where their hand and foot were cut off with no explanation. (more…)

Pakistan Terror Bombing Kills 8

The Taliban continued to attack political parties and civilian groups ahead of Pakistani elections, killing 8 and wounding at least 40 in a homicide bomb attack in Peshawar, Pakistan.

According to witnesses, the bomber passed a police vehicle and then donated his device next to a passenger bus. (more…)

Taliban Warns of Terrorism Offensive

The Taliban announced they are beginning an offensive against what they call “foreign transgressors” and those who are working against them in Afghanistan. The terrorist organization is promising their “spring offensive” will be “monumental.”

“We once again call on all the officials and workers of the stooge Karzai regime to break away from this decaying administration in order to conform to Islamic commands, national interests and protection of yourselves, and to choose a life of prosperity living alongside your own people in an atmosphere of peace and security,” the Taliban said in its statement. Poison Gas Attack On Girls’ School In Afghanistan

At least 74 schoolgirls were rushed to a hospital after falling ill from poison gas according to local officials.

Mass poisonings of schoolgirls has become a common tactic among the Taliban and other Islamic terrorist groups who believe women and girls should be kept illiterate and uneducated. (more…)

Pakistan Army Kills 15 Taliban Terrorists

The Pakistan army reportedly killed 15 Taliban terrorists yesterday in Tirah Valley as part of a military offensive aimed at forcing the Taliban from the region.

In the last week the army claims to have killed more than 100 terrorists. The Taliban had allied with a local militia and increased their presence in the region. (more…)

Taliban Assassinates American Diplomat In Afghanistan

The Taliban assassinated a young American diplomat and five others this weekend.

Anne Smedinghoff, 25, was killed along with three soldiers, two civilians and an Afghan doctor. The group was traveling to deliver books to a school in the southern part of the country. (more…)

Taliban Kills 50 In Afghanistan

Taliban members dressed as soldiers assaulted a courthouse complex killing at least 50 people, 34 of them civilians.

At least 90 were injured, most of them civilians.

The attack in Farah province began around 9 a.m. local time when militants detonated explosives inside an army vehicle damaging the local governor’s office and two banks packed with civilians. The terrorists then began a gun battle with Afghan security forces. Several terrorists detonated suicide vests. (more…)

A homicide bomber attacked a convoy containing a senior police commander killing at least 10 people.

Taliban Attacks Police In Jalalabad

A homicide bomb attack on a police station in the eastern Afghanistani city of Jalalabad has killed five police officers along with the terrorists.

Four others were wounded in the attack. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack. (more…)
