Our ministry is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant. This person should be observant, a self-starter, and detail-oriented. This person should maintain a professional appearance and workplace confidentiality. This administrative position is fast-paced and multi-faceted and requires a flexible work schedule.

Assistant Controller

Our ministry is seeking an Assistant Controller. This person works under the guidance of and assists the VP of Finance, Controller.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the controller in the direction of the accounting functions.
  • Assisting in ensuring timeliness and accuracy of the financial statements.
  • Preparation of budgets and financial reports and overseeing their evaluation.
  • Preventing inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting.
  • Reviewing financial data periodically to ensure fairness and completeness of the data.
  • Developing system controls for ensuring data integrity.
  • Developing proper operational, data documentation and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Conducting account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Assisting in closing responsibilities.
  • Assisting in special projects whenever asked.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains)
  • Experience in for-profit sector
  • Familiarity with non-profit sector

Education:

Morningside School of Media Opportunities


Media Broadcasting Instructor

Morningside School of Media is seeking a Media Broadcasting Instructor for its hands-on Christian media training apprenticeship. This individual will be responsible for teaching courses related to media. These courses may include journalism, broadcasting, TV and radio, web design, on-air presentation, and social media.

The emphasis of this media apprenticeship is to provide an elite group of students who possess passion for Christian media the opportunity to train hands-on in a real broadcast setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Help select media curriculum.
  • Create and teach lesson plans for semester’s course.
  • Coordinate with Broadcast employees to ensure lesson plans are parallel with current training.
  • Keep records of grades, grade papers, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
  • Create projects designed to enhance lectures.
  • Support the goals of the organization.

Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Mass Media or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience as an instructor part-time or full-time in Media or related field.

Bible Instructor

Morningside School of Media is seeking a certified Bible instructor for its hands-on Christian media training apprenticeship. This individual will be responsible for teaching Bible courses from the New and Old Testament. The intention of this class is to set a sound Biblical foundation for our media students.

The emphasis of this media apprenticeship is to provide an elite group of students who possess passion for Christian media the opportunity to train hands-on in a real broadcast setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and teach lesson plans for course using the New and Old Testament.
  • Keep records of grades, grade papers, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
  • Create projects, tests, quizzes to ensure course effectiveness.
  • Guide and teach students using a Biblical worldview.
  • Support and contribute to the Christian goals of the organization.

Education:

  • Bachelors or higher in Biblical Theology or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience as a full-time or part-time Biblical or related field instructor
