Television Engineer

We are seeking an individual to work in a fast pace challenging environment who is interested in ministry. This individual will coordinate and perform maintenance of computer and broadcast equipment of the television broadcasting station.


  • Plan, manage, train, and coordinate technical activities
  • Assist and advise in planning of future equipment installations, requirements, and budget recommendations
  • Supervise maintenance of computer software, hardware, and local area network applications on systems throughout the studios
  • Establish the procedures to ensure that all IT equipment is operational and secure
  • Keep software versions up to date. Ensures software license compliance. Follows all corporate directives for IT security
  • Supervise preventive maintenance and/or troubleshooting on almost any electronic device or support electronics whether in-house or installed a crossed campus.
  • Supervise and/or perform maintenance of all equipment.
  • Respond to trouble calls with studio or computer equipment
  • Design, plan and implement new studio video work flow
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Full-time, some on-call required, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.


  • 5 years minimum of experience in broadcast television

Senior MCSE

Morningside church is seeking a senior level Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. If you have at least five years’ experience as a Senior level MCSE and want to work in a fast-paced, think outside of the box, ever-changing IT environment, with exciting uses in today’s technology and work with the latest state-of-the-art equipment. Morningside Church’s IT senior-level position is for you. This full-time salaried and compensation will be based on skill set and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with all aspects of the IT field: active directory server 2012, VMware, vSphere posting, 22+ virtual servers, Microsoft SQL clustering, collaborate with database development engineers and design and implementation with leading shipping and tracking vendors in today’s highly scalable packaging industry.
  • Work with Apple Xserve, Mac Pro environment for editing, support Cisco routers, switches, VLANs and scale and design an ever-expanding fast-growing client/server network.
  • Work with Dell computers Dell servers, EMC, Promise A-Class and multi-faceted backup solutions from Backup Exec to Tempos TINA. Work with our voice over IP telephone network using Ayaya’s IP Office. Through ADTRAN and Cisco’s POE switches.
  • Management and scaling of our high-speed Internet services with our fiber pipe to our Telco.
  • Network design, rack layout, equipment budgeting, equipment ordering, installation and configuration as well.
  • Work with sorrow web team, and provide support for our television team, and our streaming team, as well as editors, graphic design artists, shipping and receiving department, and more.
  • Work directly with CEO’s, Presidents, Office Managers, Office Administrators, and end users, and must have a personable and professional attitude and demeanor.
  • IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications
  • Support virtual environment built on VMware.
  • Design, implementation, and support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
  • Engineer and implement system solutions for clients using technologies that meet their needs
  • Implement and support disaster recovery solutions
  • Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
  • Remote access solution implementation and support using VPN and Terminal Services
  • System documentation and consulting services to include system reviews and recommendations
  • Communicate with clients and keep them informed of your progress. Notifying them of changes or agreed outages

Level 1 IT Technician Help Desk & Desktop Support

We are seeking an individual to work in a fast pace challenging environment who is interested in ministry.


  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals in our PC and Mac environment
  • The individual will also work with cell phone and tablet screen repairs
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
  • Trains employees on basic computer concepts, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed


  • Entry level to 3 years of desktop support experience
  • A+ required
  • Microsoft active directory, print server management and wireless access points are a plus
  • Making custom voice over IP and network cables, preferred.
  • Familiarity with a variety of tech support concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Previous desktop support and customer service experience required
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude required

Level 2 IT Technician Desktop Support & Server Specialist

We are seeking an individual to work in a fast pace challenging environment who is interested in ministry. This individual is responsible to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks as well as assist with many other IT responsibilities.


  • Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems.
  • Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
  • Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks
  • Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
  • Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
