Myles Munroe Killed In Plane Crash

John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will have life even if they die. And everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.

The senior pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries International Fellowship is dead after a plane crash in the Bahamas.

Myles Munroe was killed along with his wife, daughter and six others when their plane struck a construction crane in a shipyard next to the airport and crashed into a junkyard.  No one on the plane survived.

Munroe was leading a Global Leadership Forum that included world leaders such as ambassadors to the United Nations.

“He was indisputably one of the most globally recognizable religious figures our nation has ever produced,” Bahamian Prime Minister Perry Christie said of Munroe. “His fame as an ambassador for the Christian ministry preceded him wherever in the world he traveled, whether in the Caribbean, North America, Asia, Europe or Africa.”

The Associated Press says that severe weather had an impact on the crash.

  3. Pastor miles was my God Father, whom i will miss very very much i will be releasing my new Gospel Video and because of Dr. Miles i was able to accomplish this anointed music video, I will for ever be grateful to the family and church family love you all.

  4. I am an 80 year old lady and enjoyed his teaching, I could understand what he was saying, so many preachers don’t break down the Word of God into a understanding so we can get it. i loved to hear him every time i could. He blessed many of us and we was sorry to see him leave, but when God’s work is finished here we have a wonderful beautiful home in Heaven.

  5. God did not create man because He needed a ‘manager’! Sheep aren’t always the best of managers; they keep their eyes on their shepherd; they follow him; they are managed BY him and they are fed, and led to green pastures. Keep your eyes on your Shepherd, and follow him! Manage what you can, and what you can’t manage, look to your Shepherd for wisdom. He will come to walk with you in the ‘cool of the day’ and answer all your questions in their proper time.

  6. Please forgive me, I have no stake in this, other than Deuteronomy 18:22, but when somebody changes the meaning of a word and many people are influenced by it, God will act to protect His sovereign will. In his latest book, Miles Monroe substituted ‘manage’ for ’till’ saying that God was looking for a ‘manager of the ground and our purpose is to manage’. He also said “Whatever you don’t manage you will lose.” And “If you lost your house through foreclosure it’s because you didn’t manage it.”
If this were true, all the children of Israel who lost all their properties in Egypt, lost it due to lack of management which simply was not the case because God was bringing them out of Egypt and that’s why they had to leave their houses behind.
To ’till the ground’ implies you are beginning something. Management is learned. God did not create man because He needed a ‘manager’!

  7. Dr. Myles Munroe: . . . . . November 10th, 2014

Even still, ignorance abounds, as can be widely seen via the worlds’ comments of your explosive physical death.
The Body has lost a great man of God. So very much applied knowledge (wisdom) I’ve seen through your life & teachings. Such deep laws / truths of the spirit realm you have revealed to us, to us with the ears to hear, the eyes to see & the heart refined enough so to receive. You, sir, are missed.

So, my brother in arms (the Word of God – Hebrews 4:11-13 ), I will see you again. But not yet. Not yet.

  8. I am so thankful I knew Myles as a college student when he attended Oral Roberts University & he was on fire for the Lord & made an impact on his world then. As he sat in my office & shared his dream to serve God with his life I had an idea he would be a power preacher, but had no idea he would impact the whole world & teach the reality of the Kingdom of God & stand before kings & queens to tell about Jesus the way he did. In a short 35 years, Myles Monroe became a household name & was held in high esteem around the world. This week end is Homecoming at ORU & Myles will be missed greatly here in Tulsa. I think of the scripture in Ps.116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of HIS saints”. I know Heaven is blessed with the arrival of Myles & Ruth, but, here on earth this is a” Costly” event to the Kingdom of God. But, we will go forward & double our efforts in honor & memory of Myles & Ruth & carry on the legacy they left. We will carry high Gods banner of Love & go into “every mans world” as Myles did to teach “The Kingdom of God” is available to all. We thank Father God for their ministry & faithfulness & bless their memory !

  9. `His life is a treasure and he will be missed. A portal in Heaven , very large opened when they all transferred to glory. His messages on the Kingdom and our prayers were amazing and never forgotten. He was well received by Israel as a consultant and they knew that Christians were standing with them.

  10. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. When the just leave this earth, their race is over. We cannot leave before our time, and we cannot stay beyond our time. Known unto God are all His works, and we simply cannot fathom the mysteries of God. Pastor Monroe, was one of a kind. Millions were healed, delivered, enlightened by the ministry God entrusted him with, and his family and associates were an awesome team that assisted that call. I thank Almighty God for the time he allowed us to be blessed with Pastor Monroe. I know my life was changed eternally from his ministry, especially his book on “Purpose.” We salute you Pastor Monroe, you did and outstanding job, and all those that were faithful unto death, you left a legacy behind that will change lives throughout eternity, and your works will follow you.

  11. What does this mean? Miles was a wonderful teacher, i know he was a word minister, and had a lot to give to people who says God wants them to know who they are and prosper as their soul prospers.
