Irán se está preparando para los ciber-ataques contra U.S. infraestructura y contratación de los hackers. Los iraníes han utilizado los militantes de Hezbollah fuera del Líbano antes y ahora parece que están armando un ciber-milicia de los piratas informáticos hábiles a partir de esta misma base terrorista. Esta nueva maniobra, sería difícil probar que Irán estaba detrás de los ataques.

De acuerdo con un informe en el periódico de un extremista de Irán, la Guardia Revolucionaria advirtió a Estados Unidos a "preocuparse por un jugador desconocido en alguna parte del mundo, atacando a la infraestructura crítica."

A group called the Iranian Cyber Army that attacked Twitter and a Chinese search engine named Baidu in 2010 and in ’09. This type of incursion on a large scale would provide Iran with an option for psychological operations directed against the U.S. This kind of psyche op could bring fear and confusion directly to the American public and disrupt their normal daily lives.

El U.S. has not even begun to prepare for combined computer network attacks directed at our military information and communication systems. The Iranian plan is to even use old jamming techniques to degrade radar systems and complicate defensive and offensive operations.

U.S. government agencies like the Strategic Air Command are aware of the problem but no one in this administration is at the helm to address the Iranian Cyber Threat dilemma.

Our intelligence agencies have attempted to estimate the skill level of Iran’s hacker terrorists, but sometimes it does not even come down to a matter of skill, when there is already an abundance of cyber-weapons available as close as the world wide web. Adversaries in the Internet hacker underworld do not need capabilities, just intent and a little cash under the table, so to speak.
