Millones de cristianos están siendo desplazados del mundo islámico, según un informe de los EE.UU.. Comisión para la Libertad Religiosa Internacional.

“El vuelo de los cristianos de la región no tiene precedentes y ha aumentando año tras año,” la Comisión señaló en un informe. ”[en nuestra vida] Cristianos podrían desaparecer por completo de Irak, Afganistán y Egipto.” (más…)

MidEast Christian News has released a video recorded April 7th when Muslims attacked a cathedral where Christians were mourning five men killed by a Muslim group.

The video shows men shooting guns, throwing stones and swinging machetes as the Christians carry caskets out of St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral while police stand and watch the Islamists attack. At one point in the video, a police officer is shown helping a gunman aim at a courtyard of mourners. (más…)

IMF and Egypt Negotiating $4.8 Billion Loan

The Egyptian government is seeking a massive loan from the International Monetary Fund to help the country’s foundering economy.

The negotiations between government officials and IMF representatives in Cairo is contingent on proving that the nation is serious about economic reform.

The Egyptian pound has lost ten percent of its value since the beginning of 2013. Inflation has significantly risen and the lack of funds has caused the government to cut back on imports. (más…)

In the latest cases of violent persecution, Muslims stormed a mosque in suburban Cairo, turning it into a torture chamber for Christians. The Christians were singled out from groups protesting the Muslim Brotherhood’s President Morsi. Experts fear that this is only the beginning of the days of trouble and expect the persecution and tribulation will grow much worse.

Demonstrators were taken from the Muslim Brotherhood headquarters in suburban Cairo to a nearby mosque this past Friday and tortured for hours by hard-line Islamic militia members. (más…)

Egypt’s Christians are very concerned that they could soon be subjected to Islamic law after el-Ashri said on Egyptian television thatThere is no such thing as a Christian religion,” according to a report on the Committee for Virtue and Prevention of Vice, from Barnabas Aid, a human rights group that supports Christians when they are in a minority and suffer discrimination, oppression and persecution as a consequence of their faith. Egypt has been besieged with a swarm of millions and millions of locusts. This pestilence laid siege about 15 miles from Cairo and attacked without warning.

The Giza region has been turned into a battlefield of devastated crops. The Egyptian Army has been attempting to come against the march of this invasion of locusts that has been devouring the agricultural areas. (más…)

An Israeli Defense Force source declared that Libyan weapons are showing up for auctions publicized through the grapevine. Muslim Brotherhood’s President Mohamed Mursi will not tolerate a two-way flow of smuggled weapons between Hamas-led Gaza Strip and Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. Essam Haddad, national security adviser to President Mursi, explained in an interview, “We don’t want to see these tunnels used in illegal ways of smuggling people or weapons that can really harm Egyptian security.(más…)
