Pastor’s Wife Defiant About Working At Abortion Clinic

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV) “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God…”

Editor’s Note: Throughout the scriptures, God has made it clear that shedding innocent blood is murder, and no murderer will enter heaven. In addition to the death of the unborn baby, abortion also substantially harms the women and many times, families, husbands, boyfriends and a whole sphere of relationships connected to and surrounding each abortion. Often, lifelong guilt and other social, relational, spiritual and even physical problems follow the murder of innocent babes in the womb. Pastor Jim Bakker believes that this issue, abortion, may be the single most significant issue that brings God’s judgment on this nation more than any other.

A Baptist preacher’s wife caught working at an abortion clinic is lashing out at Christians who are condemning her for ending the lives of babies.  She says that no one has the right to condemn her because everyone sins.

“I feel that we have all sinned. None of us are perfect. No sin is greater than any sin. I don’t know why, other than that’s the only decision [abortion] that a woman could make. That’s her right to make that decision because that’s her body,” Callie Chatman, a certified medical technician who works at Reproductive Health Services told The Christian Post in an interview Sunday.

The controversy about Callie Chatman came to light last week when a Missouri Service Corps missionary with the North American Mission Board posted a video of her pastor husband dropping her off at the abortion clinic.

“Sadly, this is a Montgomery pastor dropping off his wife who works at the abortuary here in Montgomery. We have spoken to her often and the only response we get is that God forgives and we are not to judge. Her husband is the pastor of New Elam Baptist Church. Her son works here as well as the security,” wrote David Day Sr. on the video description.

Chapman responded angrily to direct comments from those who are against her assisting in the death of babies.

“You know what? The activists need to get their lives together. When they become sin free then you call me back.”

  1. I agree with the above statements. when a person accepts Jesus Christ and has asked for forgiveness. They become a new creature in Christ. Old things pass away and all things become new. there is a wanting to please God and have Godly actions in our dailey lives. Jesus tells us in Luke17:2 that it would be better to have a millstone around our neck and be cast into the sea rather than harm a child. so weather you abuse physically (rape, beat, starve) mentally, or abort then there is danger to the child and God will elicit a severe punishment on you. Now is the time to heed the call to WAKE UP AMERICA— judgment is coming. Jesus is returning soon and very soon. The end of Sept. may be the beginning of such an awakening. Dear Lord please forgive our sins and save our nation. Jesus tells us if my people ( the true born again believers (not a demonimation) but people who have called on HIm and asked for forgiveness of sin and accept Him as Lord and Savior) that people will call upon my name-seek my face- then will I hear from Heaven . Brothers and Sisters in Christ pray as never before. time is truly short.

  2. Sadly here lies the great lie of satan, ‘it’s the mother’s body, it’s her right to choose’. It is NOT her body she is killing, but an individual human being growing inside the womb of the mother. A completely seperate being created in the image of GOD. How this Pastor can continue behind the pulpit and preach the ten commandments which includes THOU SHALL NOT MURDER is beyond me. Where is the remorse for the loss of human life in a day when the killing of an animal draws worldwide outrage? I feel sorry for this family, and will pray for their conviction through the Holy Spirit, and I am doubly sorry for the Christians they are leading down a path to hell. This is why America is under judgement! the murdering of 70,000,000 infants, not to mention the selling of organs for experimentation in transhumanism.

  3. The Pastors wife was not convicted in her heart that God will supply all your need according to his riches in Glory. Many Christians compromises because we don’t believe In The God we serve. May God the Father Jesus Christ the Son and Holy Spirit convict our hearts to do what The Word instructs us to do. Peace and blessings to us all!!!

  4. There is a BIG difference between making a living in the industry of SIN versus falling to temptation committing a sin then repenting and asking for the Lord’s forgiveness. This pastor his wife and there child need to read God’s word and begin adhering to it.

  5. “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there” Galatians 5:24 NLT…….tired of people who say they are Christian and have every excuse to keep on sinning…..either you belong to Christ and TRY to keep from sinning thru The Holy Spirit…or keep on giving lip service to The Lord,…… woman’s so called rights (what about the babies rights?) are never and will be never above Gods laws….tired of hyper grace message also

  6. Callie Chatman attempts to justify herself now, but on That Day her self justification will NOT serve her well. She is trading her immortal soul for a job, a pay check, and a spirit of prideful arrogance.

  7. On the topic of abortion, I always pose this question. Two women are both four months pregnant; the woman who decides to keep it, calls her’s a baby. The other woman decides not to keep it: and calls her’s a fetus. What biological change occurred that creates such a distinction? Speaking as a man: I do not put the guilt solely on women for making this choice. Men want the pleasure of creating a baby, and run when it comes time for being responsible for a baby. The difference between a man and a boy is self control. We wonder why fornication is on the sin list: this issue has 55 million reasons and counting. God be merciful to our country: we have sinned greatly in your eyes.

  8. Being a Christian does not give a person a license to sin. Yes, all are sinners but to knowingly continue in sin is trampling on and misusing the Grace of God. My second thought is perhaps she has had problems finding work elsewhere in her community. We need to pray that God will change this woman’s heart.

  9. The pastor’s wife should immediately stop working at an abortion clinic. She comprises the Word of God. She’s justifying herself by saying we all sins…I certainly would stop attending the church where her husband is preaching.

  10. She will definitely have to answer like anyone else…I could not call myself Christian and be a part of abortion. It’s against God. These women have other resources and should be given that choice. A baby has no voice about his/her body! Makes me sad for her.
