The research claims that the “T-Ray” band could offer huge amounts of bandwidth that has been previously unavailable to businesses and consumers.

The band is between the microwave and the far-infrared regions of the spectrum and it’s currently unregulated, allowing anyone to use the space.

The technology to generate and use “T-rays” has been considered too expensive for common use in recent years but items are being prepared that could handle the new rays.

Currently the estimated effective range of the waves is 10 meters. Researchers are currently working to improve the distance without significant increases in power usage.

Nineteen others are taking part in the games right there in Israel’s back yard. Just to name a few of the participants: Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Egypt, Bahrain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Britain, France, Spain and Australia.

Israel currently has a peace treaty with Jordan but was not invited to participate in the exercises. Several Arab nations participating in the drill are still formally at war with the Jewish state. There are issues here that have never been resolved.

The U.S. is leading the exercise called, “Eager Lion 2012.” Major General Ken Tovo, head of the Special Operation Forces said, “Yesterday we began to apply the skills that we have developed over the last weeks in an irregular warfare scenario. The games will last approximately for the next two weeks. The message that I want to send through this exercise is that we have developed the right partners throughout the region and across the world … insuring that we have the ability to meet challenges that are coming to our nations.”

Major General Awni Adwan, Jordan’s army operations head of training said these war games “have been in the planning phase for the past three years.” When General Adwan was asked by the press if the war games were related to the violence in Syria he responded, “No forces will be deployed north … the exercise is not connected to any real world event. This has nothing to do with Syria. We respect the sovereignty of Syria. There is no tension between the Syrians and us. Our objectives are clear.”

Over 12,000 soldiers from 19 different countries are taking part in the Middle East war games without Israel, on Jordan’s turf. According to official figures, the United States has given Amman, Jordan $2.4 billion in military and economic aid in the past five years.

Iran has executed Majid Jamali Fashi for being an Israeli spy. He was convicted of killing 50 year old Masoud Ali Mohammadi in January 2010, a professor at Tehran University and whose role in Iran’s nuclear program was unclear. His killing was meant to slow down the production of Iran’s nuclear weapons experiments.

In addition to being charged with murder, Mr. Fashi was found guilty of “receiving training from Mossad” (Israeli Intelligence). Fashi confessed to being paid $120,000 for assassinating the Iranian scientist and using forged documents in order to travel to Tel Aviv.

A bomb had been attached to Mohammadi’s car by a motorcyclist outside of his home and detonated by remote. The blast killed Masoud Ali Mohammadi and mortally wounded his driver and bodyguard. Iran also blamed the United States of complicity in the murder, to which the U.S. State Department replied, “Absurd.”

Israel usually declines comment on such matters, while Iran regularly blames Israeli agents and the United States. The U.S. always declares no knowledge of such an action.

There are talks scheduled between Iran envoys and the International Atomic Energy Agency set to transpire this week, which is a prelude to the Baghdad summit meeting with the United States, Iran and other U.N. countries. The subject of the talks is of course, Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Strong words coming out of Iran. Iran has been claiming the United States has been forced to humble themselves before Iran and their nuclear plans. “This shows weakness on the part of West and is paving the way for the Iran Islamic regime to annihilate the Jewish state.”

Tehran is going to demand even more at the upcoming U.N. meetings in Baghdad this month. They have been proudly saying that Israel has been snubbed by their allies. It was reported in Iran’s Keyhan newspaper that supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated, “It can be said that within the last sixty years, this is the first time that the Zionist regime, since its illegal inception, has had to endure rejection by the West over its vision and interest in the region.”

In a newspaper editorial written by their columnist, Sadollah Zarei, he said, “Within the last three months, Israeli officials, after reports that America is on the verge of accepting the Iranian nuclear program, have made several trips to Washington, where on one trip they met for 10 days with U.S. officials to try and change President Obama’s decision to accept Iran’s nuclear program. They were unsuccessful! The ramifications of (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu’s defeat in the face of Obama’s policies have been a breakdown in Israel’s usurper regime, where now many within its own government have spoken against its own prime minister, claiming Iran is a rational regime and not after the bomb,” Zarei wrote.

Iran’s hard-line newspaper stated that Israel’s government is currently in disarray and will be forced to watch Iran’s victory at the Baghdad U.N. nuclear negotiations, along with the rest of the world.

“The West, which in the first U.N. Istanbul talks would not recognize Iran’s nuclear program even if the 20 percent enriched material was sent out of the country, now before stepping into the Baghdad meeting has accepted Iran’s nuclear program without even getting an assurance on the 20 percent enrichment process,” Zarei said. “All of this is taking place in front of the horrified eyes of the Zionist regime.”

Enriching the nuclear fuel to the 20 percent level is an important step to nuclear weaponization, which Iran is pushing for as part of its stated goal of obliterating Israel. The question is . . . Why has the West changed their policies toward Iran? The editorial went on to say, they could have continued with their same old failed policies of confrontation, but the answer is; “In the last year, two important events have taken place. One has been the Islamic Awakening (the Arab Spring) in the region, which is based on the ideology of the Islamic Republic of Iran and has the West very worried. Events in Egypt, despite all the analysis by the West, have turned into an Islamic movement with Sharia laws. These two events have forced the West to rethink its approach toward Iran.”

Because of all this, the Iranian newspaper editorial explained, Israel finds them-selves in a corner without friends. Zarei concluded, “Israel has been weakened drastically with what is happening in Egypt, which has collapsed part of Israel’s regional security. With diminishing support for Israel and with the (upcoming) collapse of the monarchy in Saudi Arabia,” Zarei claims, “there won’t be any obstacles left facing Iran with its policy of annihilation of Israel.”

One of Iran’s most influential clerics, Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi said, “It is the duty of Muslims to destroy the Zionist regime and its arrogant supporters.” Yazdi had also decreed in ’06, that in case of a war between Muslims and infidels, Muslims can take the infidels as slaves until they become Muslims and then send them back to their own countries. He is now saying, “When protecting Islam and the Muslim (community), martyrdom operation not only is allowed, but it even is an obligation. In any attack on Israel, only Israeli civilians who have opposed Israel’s ‘vicious crimes’ should be spared, but the rest can be slaughtered.”

“The Iranian government has laid out the legal and religious justification for destroying Israel and the slaughter of its people as well as the infidels (those not accepting of Islam) world-wide.”

The potential removal of Greece from the Euro rocked the markets in Europe on Monday.

Ten year borrowing costs in Italy and Spain rose to their highest levels this year and stock markets had their biggest one-day drop in three weeks. Ten year bonds in Germany fell to a record low.

Leaders in Europe have created a 500 billion euro financial safety net called the Eurozone Rescue System. However, financial analysts are questioning if that’s big enough to save larger economies than Greece.

A strategist at UBS told the Financial Times said the firewall is theoretically big enough for a country like Spain but said government officials could have practical problems gaining the necessary loans.

While the danger of economic failure in Greece is known, Spain is struggling with deep budget cuts and the cost of insuring against a Spanish default hit a record high Monday.
