Turn It Around!

Most of you know that Jim and I are very health conscious and we do our best to take care of ourselves. That’s because we have had health issues that would probably have taken us out if we hadn’t! That’s the reason so many people like Frank Davis and Montel Williams take care of themselves too – they both have serious health issues that could have been a lot worse but they made a choice to fight back against those things! They turned it around – we turned it around – and so can you!

But even if you aren’t faced with a health crisis right at the moment, it will pay off in the long run to make healthy choices and to give your body the best opportunity possible to serve you well. As Christians, we remember that our bodies are the “temple of the Holy Spirit” and good things need to be inside of it!

Recently Frank Davis was on the show and he is the most amazing man! When he was sick (many years ago now) he made it his life’s purpose to study nutrition and how the body responds to it. He found out that the body will actually heal itself given the right nutrients along with exercise. He began to practice everything he learned and the result was that he turned his health situation around! He said he hasn’t taken so much as an aspirin in the last 15 years! His whole-food nutrition products helped him win a lifelong battle for good health and achieve MVP athletic success in the Masters Basketball Association National Senior Championships. All at the age of 69!  Now that’s what I’d call a success story!

The thing I love about Frank is that he didn’t keep all this to himself but shared it with the world around him. Frank’s commitment to the research and development of healthy foods and supplements led to the formation of his company, Food for Health. And it’s because of Food for Health that Jim and I and so many others all over the world are now living happy, healthy lives – free of the diseases that once threatened us.

But there’s a key element to all of this. Even when we have all the tools, we still have to pick them up and use them! I love what Montel said, “no one else can do it for you; you have to do it for yourself.” It’s a brilliant statement. As much as Jim wants to help me get better in any way shape or form, I know I have to do it. It’s up to me! He cannot make me take vitamins or eat the right foods. I have to do it for me!

Taking care of yourself, your health, and your body is a right and a responsibility. Nobody wants to be a burden to other people. I know I don’t! So, I have made the choice to proactively take care of myself to the best of my ability right now.

And you can too! You will have great rewards in how you feel and your ability to accomplish the reason God has set you on this earth at this time. Come on – let’s get started now!

Love,

  1. I would love to donate to your ministry, but unfortunately I am a 66 year old widow who has not even a nickel left over from my SS check. I was a regular doner back in the days of the PTL club. I have always loved your ministry and how you just get the truth out and let the chips fall wherever! Stay strong and keep being honest!!!
One question: What would you suggest to someone like me? I get $1424/monthly, no food stamps and have to pay rent, utilities, food, etc. I am saving quite a bit by eating cereal with milk twice daily about 3 to 4 times a week. Would love to know what you would suggest that I can do to prepare for the end times.
    God Bless you!!!
BTW, I watch you every afternoon at 4 pm here….great time for me.

    • Jill thank you for sharing and for your desire to help our ministry. We do offer monthly clubs. These clubs are smaller dollar amount each month and will allow you to prepare for times to come. You can find out about these monthly offers here.

      • Thank you for telling to me, but as I stated, I have no left over money after I pay my rent, utilities, and a small amount of food.
I am enjoying the end of times that Rev. Baker is teaching.
