The Rankin Brothers Rock Grace Street!

What a great way to celebrate the 4th of July!

The Rankin Brothers brought their award winning show to the stage at Morningside and held nothing back! They spanned the ages from the Righteous Brothers to Fats Domino to Sonny & Cher to Elvis!

Mark and Matt Rankin bring amazing renditions of the artists behind the songs. Whether it’s the mannerism on stage or little vocal tics and inflections their impressions are among the best.

In addition to the impressions, the Rankin brothers paid tribute to veterans and those currently serving with a group of patriotic songs including leading the crowd in a rousing “God Bless America.”

But the Rankin Brothers do much more than provide great impersonations of the stars of today and yesteryear. They opened their second half with “The Anchor Holds” and spoke unashamed of their Savior Christ Jesus.

They even quoted 2 Corinthians 1:20 before singing “Trading My Sorrows!”

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. (NIV)

Their rendition of “How Great Thou Art” and the show closing “He’s Alive” brought the crowd to its feet in worship and praise.

It’s a blessing to have these strong men of God shining His light in Branson and we were all blessed to have them with us tonight to celebrate the 4th of July!
