As North Korea gets ready for their new rocket launch they threaten “merciless punishment” for anyone who would shoot down their new missile.
Both Japan and South Korea have put their military on a standby basis and are prepared to shoot down the missile if it passes over their territories.
North Korea plans on a launch between April 12 ו - 16. If they fire this new rocket they will be in violation of U.N. resolutions.
David Cameron, U.K. ראש הממשלה, will arrive in Japan for a timely two-day visit this week. The second stage of the North Korean rocket is expected to come down in southern Ishigaki or the Okinawa region. Japan has sent hundreds of self-defense personnel and has deployed missile interceptors to seven locations in Okinawa and the Tokyo region, to intercept the rocket if necessary to prevent it from falling onto Japanese soil.
