Ron Pratt, (Papa Bear Alaska) Alaskan Missionaries

Known worldwide as “Papa Bear Alaska” on social media, Pratt is president and founder of ThisGeneration Ministries, which aims to reach the lost of Alaska and then train them to spread the gospel. A native of Southern California, Pratt started his ministry to young people in Modesto, California, in 1983, then in 1998 moved north to North Pole, Alaska, with his pregnant wife, Yolanda, and their two young children. There they began the first Master’s Commission discipleship school in the state before eventually launching “This Generation Ministries”. A gifted communicator and the author of Mission Accomplished: The Secrets of Successful Missions, Pratt has ministered throughout the United States, Mexico, and Europe in addition to pursuing his mandate to bring healing and hope to the remote communities and villages of Alaska. He and Yolanda live in North Pole, Alaska.

In his new book “Navigate Your Faith: A Christian’s Field Guide to Not Getting Lost” (Mar. 5, 2019), Ron Pratt exposes the little decisions Christians make that cause them to compromise their faith. The first mistake: believing they can handle temptation.

Ron and Yolanda Pratt’s show “Alaska Missionaries” can be seen on the PTL Television Network.
