Clinton Says Russia Contributing To Potential Civil War in Syria

Rev 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

<blockquote>“Hardly a day goes by when our senses are not bludgeoned by some new outbreak of terrorism in the Middle East.  Despite our best efforts at making and keeping the peace, political, economic, and religious tensions often lead to unrest, violence, and riots.”

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is accusing Russia of contributing to the start of a civil war in Syria. Clinton’s comments come in response to Russia and China taking actions to stop the UN from intervention in the Syrian crisis after the mass murder of women and children by government troops.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon has repeated his warnings that a catastrophic civil war is looming in Syria.

The Free Syrian Army has released a statement saying unless Syrian forces withdraw to barracks by Friday noon they will consider themselves no longer under the terms of the cease fire brokered by the UN.

Paul Wood of the BBC says that no cease fire is actually happening within the country.

The Syrian government has released “preliminary results” of their investigation into the massacre at Houla and blamed it on terrorists who want to provoke outside military intervention.
