Francia Per affrontare la crisi "schiacciamento" del debito

The prime minister of France is calling for the French people to support the government as it tries to tackle a “crushing” debt crisis.
Jean-Marc Ayrault said the nation is preparing to deal with an “unprecedented” debt crisis. He said that anyone earning more than 1 million euros would be taxed at 75%.
The money will be used to hire more teachers and police. New Socialist President Francois Hollande had promised to create 150,000 state-aided jobs.
Reuters news agency said that in addition to talk about the high tax rates, Ayrault also cut the projection of economic growth by over 50%.
Auditors said this week the French government needed an additional 10 billion euros to meet budgeted targets to reduce the nation’s deficit.
Let me understand…..a person works and makes 1 million Euros (probably from owning their own business and all the long hours that entails) and can keep only 250,000 of it. Can you say “off shore investments”? What better way to kill an economy.
Are people in France capable of the spirit of sacrifice so many durig World War 11 were able to have & to do? Are is it a big temptation to justt turn this over to the EU and be bailed out by them, never even trying? Are Americans of the first spirit…or the second? 2 Cronache 7:14!!
