History does seem to change through the ages, doesn’t it? Ever read the book, “The Light and the Glory?” In Christopher Columbus’s own hand (in his daily log) he wrote that God’s Holy Spirit lead him to this country of America. His name literally meant “Christbearer.” He became convinced that God was calling him to bear the Light of Christ west to undiscovered lands. This is at considerable variance with what American schoolchildren have been taught for generations in our schools, that Columbus discovered America by accident, while seeking a trade route to the Indies. There are no accidents in God’s plan.

Rabbi Yisrael Ariel is the founder of the Temple Institute and one of the paratroopers who liberated the Old City of Jerusalem in the 1967 Guerra dei Sei Giorni.

He tells this story about that day, 45 anni fa, when Jewish soldiers once again found themselves on the Temple Mount after an absence of 1900 anni: The Israeli Defense Forces’ paratroopers on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, were approached by a Jordanian in civilian clothes who identified himself as the official guide, appointed by the Jordanian government, to guide dignitaries at the site. He asked the soldiers, Yisrael Ariel among them, if they would like a tour of the Temple Mount and began to walk with them, offering his explanation as they went.

The Jordanian guide said,

“Here is where the Sanctuary stood.”

“Here is where the altar stood.”

“Here is where the Holy of Holies stood.”

This in itself is a far cry from the official position of the Islamic Wakf of today that denies a Temple ever existed here.

Rabbi Ariel, the young paratrooper, was astonished as to why this man should be telling the Israeli soldiers all these details, preserved by Islamic tradition regarding the Holy Temple. The man answered: “We have a tradition from our fathers that one day the Jews will wage a war, and conquer this mountain, and rebuild the Holy Temple. (The Third Temple) I assume that you will be starting tomorrow, and I want this to be my contribution.”

Apparentemente, this is what the Arabs were expecting or even feared. Perhaps if we would have built the Holy Temple back then, we would have had 45 years of peace and security, but then again – it would not have been in God’s timing or plan.

Knowing the Third Temple will be here when the antichrist steps forward is good to know. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. Never the less, the fight over the inheritance of the land of Israel continues to this day between Isaac (the natural born son of Abraham and his wife Sarah) and Ishmael (Abraham’s firstborn son, but born outside of his marriage).

2 Tessalonicesi 2:3-4

New King James Version (NKJV)

Let no one deceive you by any means; per that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, il figlio della perdizione, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as Godin the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Zechariah tells me that the new temple, or lord’s house, will be built after the lord returns to jerusalem with compassion and then his house will be built in it. Zaccaria 1: 12-17.

    Love u all.

    He is coming!
