Rev 6:5,6 NCV When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse, and its rider held a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard something that sounded like a voice coming from the middle of the four living creatures. The prime minister of France is calling for the French people to support the government as it tries to tackle a “crushing” debt crisis.
Jean-Marc Ayrault said the nation is preparing to deal with an “unprecedented” debt crisis. He said that anyone earning more than 1 million euros would be taxed at 75%.
The money will be used to hire more teachers and police. New Socialist President Francois Hollande had promised to create 150,000 state-aided jobs.
Reuters news agency said that in addition to talk about the high tax rates, Ayrault also cut the projection of economic growth by over 50%.
Auditors said this week the French government needed an additional 10 billion euros to meet budgeted targets to reduce the nation’s deficit.
