Rain Continues To Hamper Colorado Rescue Efforts

Luke 21:25,26 NAS “There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay (tension from difficult circumstances that "won't move" which produces distress or anguish – causing someone to feel "locked in" or “tightly pressed”) among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting (lose morale, become disheartened, like lapsing into temporary unconsciousness) from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world...

Another two to four inches of rain hit Colorado on Sunday hampering rescue efforts by keeping helicopters from being able to take the skies.

Larimer County Sheriff’s Office spokesmen said that Sunday afternoon only ground crews were able to work.

“It looks like there is a chance of some heavy rain Sunday, and a continued risk of flash flooding. And then we finally dry out on Monday,” National Weather Service Jim Kalina told dailycamera.com.

FEMA is scheduled to bring in two 80-person search and rescue teams as more than 480 people remain missing after the deluge of rain that has been described as “biblical” in proportion.

The Sheriff’s Office reported another likely death. An 80-year-old woman who was injured and unable to leave her home was washed away as friends brought help to rescue her. Another 60-year-old woman has been reported missing and presumed dead.

Many narrow canyon roads throughout the region have either been covered in water or washed away.
