Boko Haram Leaders Designated Terrorists

Rev 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

<blockquote>“We have so devalued human life in our society that for many people it is a small thing to kill another person.”

Boko Haram, the Nigerian Islamic extremist group responsible for murdering Christians through the African nation, has had their leadership designated terrorists by the US State Department.

More than 640 people have been killed by the al-Qaeda connected group in the first half of 2012.

The move means that any assets connected to the group’s leaders in the United States will be frozen and that contact with US citizens will be banned. The move is not expected to have much of an effect on the individual men but is seen as an attempt by the United States to help quell violence in the nation.

The group last attacked a series of Christian churches last Sunday. The group has also been engaged in gun battles with Nigerian government security forces.
