Chile and Argentina on Volcano Red Alert

Acts 2:19 And I will show wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke.

Over 3,000 residents on both sides of the Chile/Argentina border have been evacuated from the area of the Copahue volcano after gas emissions are leading experts to believe a full eruption is imminent.

Volcanologists have recorded thousands of minor earthquakes in the area.

“This red alert has been issued after monitoring the activity of the volcano and seeing that it has increased seismic activity,” Chilean Interior Minister Andres Chadwick said in a news conference. “There is a risk that it can start erupting.”

The evacuation will continue for a 15-mile radius surrounding the volcano. Heavy rain in the area is complicating the situation.

The volcano last had a major eruption in December 2012. The volcano is viewed as one of the most active in the region.

  1. Oh Gosh, so many things are happening all at once. It’s kind of scary. The teenagers in my youth group and also my teenage boys are always wanting to talk about end time things, so I’m doing a teaching on end time events and whats happening in the world now. It’s so hard to keep up with it because so much is happening every singe day now. however, my kids are curious. Please pray that I say what the Lord wants them to hear. I have so many lost in my youth group, but they keep coming ot youth. It’s a strange thing to behold. I let them be who they are and there’s no need to put on a mask in front of me. I guess they need that. All the same, PLEASE pray that I will hear the Lord on how to minister to them and help them see. Thank you. 🙂
