You better know who you believe in … better know the word. -Pastor Jim Bakker

What’s gonna bring us into victory is Jesus. -Pastor Jim Bakker

Narrative

Pastor Jim Bakker continued expounding on how increased confusion will dominate the year of 2012 and further explained that the complete term God impressed on his heart was “mass confusion.” In the Greek New Testament, the word for confusion means instability and disorder and these things will cause many in society to call evil things good and vice versa. This as a result of the confusion that renders them unable to tell the difference between the two.

In America, Pastor Jim outlined, the following examples show how the lines dividing right and wrong have blurred: the banning of Bible usage at Veterans Administration hospitals and the fact that millions of babies are aborted each year. Even worse, he said, the Food and Drug Administration is now considering approval of over-the-counter sales of the morning after pill which ends unwanted pregnancies. “You better know who you believe in,” he admonished.

Disorder even reigns in many churches, he went on to say, noting that he sees so much bitterness in some congregations where members “vomit on each other” by speaking mean spirited words about others or engaging in selfish behaviors that lead to disorganization, fighting and confusion. Such actions result from the spirit of satan or the anti-christ and from not obeying the guidance found in James 3:13-16. These verses state that the wise and understanding show forth their wisdom by living right and in humility while false wisdom shows itself in the form of envy and selfish ambition that are un-spiritual and of the devil.

Pastor Jim said part of the message God gave him entailed telling the faithful to get prepared and better organize their homes and lives. This will involve stocking up on food to survive the troubling times ahead and also strengthening one’s spiritual base and understanding of God’s word by regular Bible study and research. “Be prepared,” Pastor Jim urged. “Don’t be a victim, be a victor” and one who feeds others during this harvest time.

Scriptures

I Corinthians 14:33 KJV For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Romans 3:23 KJV For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

II Chronicles 7:14 NKJV if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Galatians 6:7 KJV Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

I Timothy 6:10 KJV For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Isaiah 5:20 NIV Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

Matthew 5:7 KJV Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

James 3:13-16 MSG Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here’s what you do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It’s the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts. Mean-spirited ambition isn’t wisdom. Boasting that you are wise isn’t wisdom. Twisting the truth to make yourselves sound wise isn’t wisdom. It’s the furthest thing from wisdom—it’s animal cunning, devilish conniving. Whenever you’re trying to look better than others or get the better of others, things fall apart and everyone ends up at the others’ throats.

James 3:15-16 NCV  That kind of “wisdom” does not come from God but from the world. It is not spiritual; it is from the devil. Where jealousy and selfishness are, there will be confusion and every kind of evil.

James 3:14 KJV But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
