Obituary

Charlene Marie Graham, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt and friend to countless people, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 27th, 2021. She was 84 years old. She was surrounded by her three children: Lori, Mark, Scott and immediate family. We are grateful to the Lord that she went peacefully into the arms of Jesus Christ, the One she loved the most.

Charlene was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 23, 1937, to Charles and Lucille Clink. In 1953, she married Robert Graham and they settled in Phoenix, AZ. They had three children: Lori, Mark and Scott.

In her early years she was involved in the First Church of the Nazarene; she was committed to her faith and she raised her children in the church. During those years she volunteered in the youth ministry program.

During her middle years she developed a twenty five year career in the business world. She was able to rise and manage / co-own businesses within the furniture industry. She was very committed to practicing dignity, integrity, and dedication to the success of her career.

In 1998, she became a Co-Founder, Pioneer, and Executive Vice President of the ministry at Morningside Church and PTL Television Network with Lori and Jim Bakker. She was an amazing representative for the ministry, continuously counseling members of the staff, volunteers and residents. She also worked with many Christian leaders around the world. Charlene was loved deeply by all who knew her.

Charlene was the matriarch and rock of the Graham family. She was full of unconditional love, incredible wisdom and counsel. Her legacy will live on forever through the powerful impact she made on others. Charlene Marie Graham, lovingly known as “Grandma Char”, will be remembered most for her extraordinary faith she had in the Lord, her Savior. She lived her entire life faithful and obedient to Him.

Charlene’s favorite life scripture was Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lucille Clink and her three siblings, Billie, Charles, and Joyce.

Charlene is survived by her 3 children: daughter, Lori and husband Jim Bakker, son, Mark Graham, and son, Scott and wife Cindy Graham. Through her children, she gained 14 grandchildren and was blessed with 23 great grandchildren. Charlene had an extended family that included her siblings’ children and grandchildren. She was abundantly blessed every day by the love that surrounded her by her family and friends.
