The coming days are critical for the efforts to rekindle the frozen Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni said after participating in Thursday morning’s meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. (more…)

Israel finds itself between a rock and a hard place as Syria readies a number of advanced weapons to strike Israel if they decide to assault Hezbollah on Syrian soil again. Israel has warned Syria to stop supplying Hezbollah with Iranian arms. Iran and Syria are longtime allies against Israel and Hezbollah has been a proxy for Iran.

I have looked down on the peaceful farmland in Israel from the Heights and been as far north as what they use to call “the good fence,” the Lebanese border. People who lived in Lebanon would be allowed to travel across this border to work in Israel and use Israeli hospitals, etc. (more…)
What began as a peaceful protest in Damascus became a dangerous demonstration and a political uprising. Terror groups started flowing into Syria and turned the conflict into an armed struggle and a civil war. Now we see a regional war with more than 70,000 deaths.
