In my own life, often people come to me and express their sorrow for what I’ve been through. I tell them, “Please don’t feel sorry for me. I wouldn’t be the person I am today, and able to minister to hurting people, had I not experienced the trials in my life. The trial of my faith has been more precious than gold.
