Not long ago we received a precious letter from Janice, who is a partner in Canada, and we would like to share it with you!

She wrote the following:

“Greetings Jim and Lori!  My husband Rod, has asked me to send this gift of $500.00 as his first fruits gift.  He has been wanting to give into the Lori’s House project for months and many things kept coming up, quote, unquote?  So, we are very happy to be able to give for such a noble, righteous and almost forgotten ministry in the church.  I was a pregnant sixteen year old, removed from my home and sent  away to fend for myself in a city 400 miles away from the very rural farm I grew up on and away from my five siblings in shame.  I experienced hunger, loneliness, no clothes for my changing body and repeated sexual assaults from the doctor.   I tell you that not so happy story to say “Lori’s House” is fit for a queen comparing to my experience.  What a powerful statement you are making with this haven for girls and women whose lives are about to change forever.  Bless you for answering God’s call in this area when most of the world doesn’t even consider this an issue.  The babies are the miracle that comes out of sin and bad decisions of which everyone has made at some time.  Again, Thank you!”
