“Who really is in charge of your life? Who or what has your attention the most? What determines what you do? What motivates you? These are questions that all of us need to stop and ask.
Recently I heard a sermon by Pastor John Davis of Sunday Revival asking the question “Who’s Your Boss?” This question caused me to stop and ponder about my response. I hope you will do the same. Friend, who is boss of your life? All of us are servants of someone or something – what about you? Continue reading →
God’s Word produces life and creates blessings. The Bible is filled with promises about the connection between God’s Word and our quality of life…
“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:20-23 KJV
Do you see the connection? When you pay attention to God’s words, getting them into your ears, eyes and into your heart, the Word becomes your very life! The Word is your health. The Word you diligently put into your heart will talk to you and keep you in line with what God has in store for you.
Proverbs 23:7 makes the next connection from the heart, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” Continue reading →
In Part 1, we learned that Jesus is the Door to salvation, the Door to the Father in Heaven. We also learned about Holy Spirit being the Watchman. He is the One who opens the door for Jesus to do what He wants to do on earth. He opens the doors to the hearts of people and as we yield to His guidance, He will use us. Let’s continue with our study on Spiritual Doors.
Another door the Holy Spirit opens is the door of revelation. When that door opens, God’s people see things spiritually that they were blind to before. They understand truths that had previously escaped their grasp. That is what happened to the apostle John when the Lord revealed to him the future events of the last days. Continue reading →
“I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who does not enter by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other away (elsewhere, from some other quarter) is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. The watchman opens the door for this man, and the sheep listen to his voice and heed it, and he calls his own sheep by name and brings (leads) them out. … So Jesus said again, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that I Myself am the Door for the sheep. …I am the Door, anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out (freely), and will find pasture.” John 10:3,7,9 (Amp) Continue reading →
Are you ready to completely consecrate your life to the Lord? Are you ready to humble yourself before Him? Are you ready to be patient and stand strong until he brings His plan to pass in your life?
The truth is, in and of yourself you can’t answer “yes” to these questions. You need the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit to accomplish God’s plan.
You don’t know what lies ahead of you; it’s impossible for you to know all that the future holds. You don’t need to know how every detail of God’s plan for your life will take place. You just need to trust Him and follow the Holy Spirit as He leads and guides you. Continue reading →
This week let’s focus on some of the wonderful gifts God has given you and me as His children. When we were born again (received Christ as our Savior), we became a new creation. Who you are now after receiving Christ is different from who you were previously. (Amen to that!!)
The gifts available and already provided for us by God touch every area of our life. God is the giver of every good gift. Let’s celebrate and use these gifts to be better witnesses for Jesus and to help others. Continue reading →
One recent morning when I awoke the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me two words: NOW IS…!! While inquiring of the Lord about this, He responded by saying, “Whatever you need, wherever you are, whatever you are doing NOW IS…” I replied, “Now is what, Lord?”
He continued:
“NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION
NOW IS THE PROVISION YOU NEED
NOW IS THE DAY FOR YOUR HEALING
NOW IS THE DAY FOR YOUR BREAKTHROUGH” Continue reading →
Lately I’ve been hearing a lot of teaching about getting our houses and lives in divine order. While contemplating this myself, I began to wonder WHO – OR WHAT HAS first place in my life? And so I ask you this question as well.
WHO – OR WHAT IS YOUR FIRST PRIORITY IN LIFE? Is it family, ministry, or maybe your career? Perhaps you dote most of your attention on a beloved pet or a hobby that you enjoy. Be honest about your answer. Is God in first place? Is He your TOP priority? If not, then you will not experience the fullness of God’s blessings that He has for you. And, in case you’re wondering what my answer to this question was, I had to admit that I needed to make some adjustments in my life as well. Continue reading →

You are the righteousness of God in Christ because of what Jesus did for you at Calvary and what He has given to you—His righteousness! Let’s continue learning more about what to center our attention on in order to live victoriously! Continue reading →

Do you have some people around you stirring up trouble and causing problems?
