Lori wrote to share some of her testimony with us.  She writes:  “I was chained to drug addiction and my first love, unfortunately was heroin.  I lost my best friend to the long term damage of this drug.  I got on Methadone and a year later, still having the thirst to dance with the devil I finally reached my bottom.  I woke up at ER from a suicide attempt and what really woke me up was the words from a Doctor saying, ‘you are alive and you are pregnant’.  That was my bottom and I struggled to rid myself of this ravishing drug and I was able to be drug free and my baby girl is healthy and didn’t have to take her first breath withdrawing.  Almost a year later and I am still sober!  Now, I’m reading the Word of God and everything is NEW!  I want to thank you and Lori for your wonderful words and to ask you to pray for my teenage kids; my son Damien who is seeking gang life, and my daughter Delany, who is only 14 and keeps running away and doesn’t believe in God.”  Lori knows that what the Lord has done for her he can do for her other children.  Please pray for all of them!
