I’m convinced that the Christian community is confused about, and easily distracted from, our true purpose. Since we don’t really know what God wants us to be doing, or what our priorities ought to be, we focus our attention on the “squeaky wheel”—whoever or whatever cries out the loudest, most often, or most obnoxiously.
