Palestinian Terror Plot Foiled

Four Palestinians connected to the terrorist group Hamas have been arrested in connection with a plot to assassinate Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman.

Israeli’s Shin Bet security agency reported the men had been working to obtain an RPG and had designs to fire it at the minister’s car outside his home in Nokdim in the West Bank.

The assassination plot is the latest action in a series of terror actions against Israelis conducted by Hamas and Palestinians.  Last week two Palestinian terrorists attacked Jews praying inside a synagogue, killing four and an officer that responded to the terrorist attack.

“We will respond with a heavy hand to the brutal murder of Jews who came to pray and were met by reprehensible murderers,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said at the time.

Hamas would not state they knew about the planned assassination but did not condemn it.

“We have no information about this issue. However, we stress that leaders of the Occupation who are responsible for the killing of children and women and for defiling the sacred sites are legitimate targets for the resistance,” Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri told reporters.

Fifth Person Dies From Terror Attack On Jerusalem Synagogue

An Israeli police officer has died from injuries sustained during the terrorist attack Tuesday at a Jerusalem synagogue.

The terrorist group Hamas is claiming that the attack was revenge for the killing of a Palestinian bus driver on Sunday despite the fact it was proven by multiple sources the bus driver committed suicide.

Hamas dismissed all the evidence that Yussuf al-Ramuni killed himself and said the death had to be caused by Jewish settlers.

“I strongly condemn today’s terrorist attack on worshipers at a synagogue in Jerusalem, which killed four innocent people, including U.S. citizens Aryeh Kupinsky, Cary William Levine, and Mosheh Twersky, and injured several more,” Obama said in an official White House statement.

“There is and can be no justification for such attacks against innocent civilians. The thoughts and prayers of the American people are with the victims and families of all those who were killed and injured in this horrific attack and in other recent violence.”

Netanyahu Demands World Condemn Palestinian Terror

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is calling on world leaders to finally end their excuses for Palestinian terror attacks on Israelis and condemn Mahmoud Abbas for inciting violence against innocent civilians.

Netanyahu pointed out that the Palestinian Authority has been routinely spreading false statements to incite anger toward Israel.

“Hamas, the Islamic Jihad, and the PA are spreading false rumors, saying we are defiling the Temple Mount, that we plan to destroy holy sites — those are all lies,” Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu noted the Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas condemned the attack but noted that in the same statement also included false propaganda about the Israeli government.

“I urge all world leaders… I want to see shock, utter denunciation of terrorism, of the murder of Jews in their prayer shawls,” Netanyahu said.

Kerry Claims Israel And Palestinians Take Steps To Calm Tensions

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said that Israel and the Palestinians have agreed to solid steps to calm the tensions over Jerusalem’s holiest site.

Violence has been building over the last few weeks over the Temple Mount.  Palestinians have been attacking Israeli police and fears had been building concerning a major uprising by Palestinians.

“Today, we are working to smother the sparks of immediate tension so that they don’t become a fire that is absolutely out of control,” Kerry added, flanked by Jordanian Foreign Minister Naser Judeh.   The area, which contains the Dome of the Rock, is under Jordanian control due to treaty.

Members of the Israeli government have been raising discussions that Jews should be again able to pray on the Temple Mount.  Judah told reporters that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed in the talks to maintain the status quo as a way to help ease tensions.

The agreement announced by Kerry also lifted all age restrictions on Muslims praying at the Dome.

Israeli Authorities To Destroy Terrorist’s Home

Israeli officials issued an order Thursday for the demolition of a terrorist’s home in east Jerusalem.

The terrorist, Muhammed Naif El-Ja’abis, is the man who ran over a pedestrian and then ran an excavator into a bus.  He was shot dead by police as he carried out the bus attack.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the resumption of the policy of destroying homes of Palestinian terrorists in response to the increasing tension in Jerusalem and the vows of Palestinians to continue their attacks on Israelis.

The policy of destruction of the homes had been discontinued a decade ago with the exception of the homes of the Hamas members who abducted and killed three Jewish teens in June.

Jerusalem’s mayor voiced his support for the order saying that all legal measures need to be used to prevent terror attacks.

Falling in Love with Israel

You’ve probably heard me say that when I am in Israel, I never want to leave. It’s hard to explain that feeling, but I know others who love Jesus and come to Israel feel that way too. I love Israel because Jesus loves Israel, and I love Jesus! When Jesus is in you, you can’t help but feel as He feels!

I always feel at home in Israel. When you come over the top of the mountains and see the city of Jerusalem before you, it’s magnificent and unforgettable, more so than any other city of the world. But, as Jesus looked out over the city, he wept because of what would happen to Jerusalem and its people in the future. Luke 19:41 Continue reading

Hispanic Evangelicals Align With Israel

A group of Hispanic evangelicals have announced an alignment with the nation of Israel intended to “advance and deepen” the connection between Hispanic Christians and Israelis.

The partnership between the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem will revolve around the Feast of Tabernacles.

“Our objective is to exponentially increase Hispanic participation and attendance at the annual Feast of Tabernacles, held each fall in Jerusalem under the sponsorship of the Christian Embassy,” said Samuel Rodriguez, president of the NHCLC to the Christian Post. “We will encourage all followers of Christ in the Latino world to come to Jerusalem at this divinely appointed time, to see the biblical sites, stand in solidarity with Israel, and take part in this dynamic worship experience with believers from all over the world.”

The ICEJ’s Christian celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles is the biggest annual tourism event in Israel.

“We are excited about partnering with Dr. Samuel Rodriguez in this new initiative to bring more Hispanic pilgrims to the Feast each year,” noted Dr. Jürgen Bühler, ICEJ executive director. “Their presence in Jerusalem will have a great impact on the Israeli people, and it will only enhance the incredible fellowship we enjoy with Christians from across the globe at this unique biblical festival.”

Iran Publishes Plan To Eliminate Israel

The Supreme Leader of Iran has published a document that outlines a 9-step plan to eliminate Israel.

The 9 steps were also posted to the Twitter account of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

“The only means of bringing Israeli crimes to an end is the elimination of this regime,” Khamenei wrote. “And of course the elimination of Israel does not mean the massacre of the Jewish people in the region. The Islamic Republic has proposed a practical and logical mechanism for this to international communities.”

The statements come as Iran is negotiating with western countries regarding their nuclear program.

“Up until the day when this homicidal and infanticidal [sic] regime is eliminated through a referendum, powerful confrontation and resolute and armed resistance is the cure of this ruinous regime,” the supreme leader writes. “The only means of confronting a regime which commits crimes beyond one’s thought and imagination is a resolute and armed confrontation.”

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu called on the western countries negotiating with Iran to step back and realize this is the goal of Iran and that under no circumstances can that nation be allowed to continue on any path that would allow them to create an atomic bomb.

Terrorist Attack In Jerusalem

For the second time in two weeks, a terrorist has driven a car into a crowd of civilians in Jerusalem.

Security sources say that Ibrahim al-Acri, an Arab man with connections to Hamas, drove a car into four people at a light rail station in eastern Jerusalem.  He then drove a quarter mile further to strike ten more people before crashing his vehicle.

He leapt from his car with an iron rod to attack people but fled when police arrived.  He was shot as he attempted to avoid police.

Rescue workers on the scene say at least one of the victims at Shimon HaTsadik light rail station is dead.

Hamas claimed credit for the attack according to a statement obtained by USA Radio News.

“We call on the people of Jerusalem and the West Bank and all of the Palestinians to carry out more of these activities with full force in order to defend al-Aska,” said the Hamas statement.
