Dr. Michael Heiser

Dr. Michael Heiser is the author of the book Reversing Hermon: Enoch, the Watchers, and the Forgotten Mission of Jesus Christ, The Unseen Realm: Recovering the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible, Supernatural: What the Bible Teaches About the Unseen World – and Why It Matters, The Forbidden Union and more.  He has a M.A. and Ph.D in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Semitic Languages from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His education also includes an M.A. in Ancient History from the University of Pennsylvania  (major fields, Ancient Syria-Palestine and Egyptology).

Dr. Heiser is one of a handful of Ph.D’s in the world that can translate 7 extinct languages among them Biblical Hebrew, Biblical Greek, Aramaic, Syriac, Egyptian hieroglyphs, Phoenician, Moabite,  and Ugaritic cuneiform, He have also studied Akkadian and Sumerian independently.  Michael speaks at academic conferences worldwide and also grades doctoral students as the academic editor for Logos International.

Dr. Heiser is originally from Lebanon, PA.  He is married to his wife Drenna and they have four children.
