Mike Wellman began his ministry in 1997 traveling and ministering throughout the country.  He has been honored to perform in concert halls, conventions and many theatres opening for gospel greats such as Chuck Day, Ronny Hinson, The New Hinsons and J.S. Sumner.  His single “A Heaven Prepared For Me” has blessed people around the country. In 2000 he was nominated for Male Horizon Vocalist for the Country Gospel Music Guild in Nashville, TN.
