Clashes In Libya Leave 105 Dead

Rev 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

“We have so devalued human life in our society that for many people it is a small thing to kill another person.”

-Jim Bakker in “Prosperity and the Coming Apocalypse”

Tribal clashes in Libya have killed 105 people and left over 500 injured according to the Libyan government.

The government deployed the army to the region and has reported no new fighting since troops arrived on the scene. The clashes have been happening in cities 90 miles south of the capital city of Tripoli.

The Libyan government has been struggling to assert authority since the end of the Gaddafi regime. Tensions from the previous regime between tribes had gone unchecked in the fallout of the regime change.

The ruling National Transitional Council has stated that weapons left over from the revolution last year are still spread throughout the country.

The country is preparing for their first free elections for a national assembly in decades.
