Editor’s Note: Throughout the scriptures, God has made it clear that shedding innocent blood is murder, and no murderer will enter heaven. In addition to the death of the unborn baby, abortion also substantially harms the women and many times, families, husbands, boyfriends and a whole sphere of relationships connected to and surrounding each abortion. Often, lifelong guilt and other social, relational, spiritual and even physical problems follow the murder of innocent babes in the womb. Pastor Jim Bakker believes that this issue, abortion, may be the single most significant issue that brings God’s judgment on this nation more than any other.
Abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell, who has killed thousands of babies at his “house of horrors” abortion clinic in West Philadelphia, is now officially a mass murderer.
Gosnell was convicted Monday on three counts of first-degree murder for killing babies born alive in his clinic by cutting their spinal cords after birth.
Under Pennsylvania law, first-degree murder is considered premeditated, malicious killing of a person. The two choices for sentencing are death by lethal injection or life without parole.
In addition to the three murder convictions, Gosnell was also convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of a 2009 abortion patient who was overdosed on Demerol by Gosnell’s staff. The staff was not trained in dealing with patients in that manner.
Gosnell was also found guilty on 210 counts of violating the 24-hour waiting period before performing an abortion and 21 counts of performing abortions on women more than 24 weeks pregnant.
I think our success in saving babies will be individuals/ministries like Jim and Lori, but I think the horse has left the barn for even the Christians in this nation to get serious, have a collective conscience, petition their representatives and reverse the national policies. Thus, the blessing of the Lord is/has left this nation. I believe we are destined for home/underground churches, and that the scripture will be fullfilled that not one nation will stand by Israel. We are in the end times. Let us save all we can and follow the Lord in all. Maybe it will be delayed and I am wrong…I pray.
I feel God is beginning to turn this nation around and hear our prayers. God is going to run the United States and overturn everything that is contrary to his will. I think he is going to overturn Roe verses Wade and also restore all who love him. I say, Yes Lord Yes!!!!
