The ban in Maryland on prayers at government meetings praying in Jesus’ name has been lifted by a judge following the U.S. Supreme Court ruling the prayers are Constitutional.
U.S. District Court Judge William D. Quarles, Jr., had previously told the Carroll County Commissioners they could not pray at meetings after a lawsuit from the anti-Christian American Humanist Association. The group had claimed the Commissioners were endorsing a religion by praying.
Quarles had ruled with the anti-Christianists, saying that no specific deity could be mentioned in any kind of official capacity in the meeting.
Commissioner Robin Bartlett Frazier said that the judge’s order was infringing on [her] First Amendment rights of free speech and religion.
“I’m willing to go to jail over it,” Frazier declared. “[I]f we cease to believe that our rights come from God, we cease to be America. We’ve been told to be careful. But we’re going to be careful all the way to communism if we don’t start standing up and saying ‘no.’”
The Carroll County Commissioners opened their meeting on Tuesday with a prayer in Jesus’ name.
I pray everyday for this Nation! I love God and I love my Country. Through prayer I believe
we can keep the Republic the founders gave us. I pray everyday for my Country and for
those who do not believe in Jesus Christ our only hope and salvation.
Let the mighty army of GOd come forth in Jesus Name,as in Joel 2. If not America will be devastated and all the blessings dddisappear. We shall survive and the the shiing light on the Hill no matter what we have to go through. Prepare the cities of refuge. Each State that chooses to support Israel and ban abortion, stand for the rights of the living will see a supernatural provision in the coming days of protection.
May God have mercy on our children and grandchidren in this time.
God bless you Commissioner Robin Frazier for standing up for your Religious freedoms. If we pray in Jesus’es Name, He will hear & answer our prayers. He is the only one that can pray to the Father God on our behalf. We, as Christians, need to be bold in our beliefs and not be intimidated by those who deny The deity of Christ. We need to vote more Godly Officials into office this November who are not afraid of criticism for these anti-Christian groups that are sprouting up all over America. They are anti-Americans &
should go to Russia or China or to a Muslim Country where they belong. They enjoy the freedoms that this
Christian Nation has provided for them.

To have more “Fraziers” in government, what a beautiful, peaceful country this could be. She stands for Godly leadership and was bold in her witnessing for this truth. Can we do any less to support her and get Jesus Christ back into our nation? No, we will demand our politicians rule as our original Constitutional Writers outlined from the beginning. Our Consititution does not need re-writing. We must have our LOVING, Almighty God involved in ALL affairs of this nation.
