Taliban Attacks Police In Jalalabad

Matthew 24:10,11 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

A homicide bomb attack on a police station in the eastern Afghanistani city of Jalalabad has killed five police officers along with the terrorists.

Four others were wounded in the attack. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.

A vehicle packed with explosives launched the initial assault. Three homicide bombers were killed outside the building but three others were able to get inside the compound and detonate their explosive vests.

The Taliban said they were targeting “foreigners and Israeli teachers” training Afghani police.

It’s the second major attack by the Taliban on a base in the area training Afghani forces. An attack on a joint U.S.-Afghan base in Jalalabad in December killed four Afghan troops.
