Terrorists Kill Nine in Wardak, Afghanistan

Matthew 24:10,11 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

Nine people were killed and 22 wounded when a roadside bomb struck a bus in the Wardak province of Afghanistan. One woman was among the dead and children were wounded in the blast.

The bus was a daily service bus between the Ghanzi province and the capital city of Kabul.

“Only a few survived unhurt,” a witness told the AFP news agency.

Wardak is known as a staging ground for the Taliban to launch terrorist bombings on Kabul. The U.S. removed Special Forces from the region last month after Afghan President Hamid Karzai accused the troops of harassing civilians.

Afghan security forces are supposed to be in place to replace the U.S. troops. There was no report about whether the troops were in the area at the time of the bombing.
