The FBI has released images of two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing. The suspects are described as “armed and extremely dangerous.” The FBI warned citizens to not attempt to apprehend the suspects if they spot them but to immediately call law enforcement.
The FBI has video of the second suspect dropping a bag before the second bomb detonated and that the two men “appear to be associated.”
A source close to the investigation told ABC News that the authorities are “confident” the men in the photos are responsible for the bombing. The man identified as “suspect two” was caught on surveillance video with a reaction to the first blast that indicates he was aware what was about to happen.
The FBI hopes by releasing the photos an “electronic dragnet” will fall around the suspects. Many internet users are working together to get the photos out around the world.
