Newly elected New York Mayor Bill de Blasio says that he is going to target pro-life crisis pregnancy centers saying they are “sham” centers because they do not kill babies via abortion.
De Blasio also promised to partner with Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers to expand services and increase the number of abortions taking place in New York City.
He even said that he would offer city sponsored space for abortionists to open clinics.
De Blasio also said he would continue to appeal a court order striking down a law aimed at driving any pregnancy care center out of the city. He said if the appeal fails, he will create new laws aimed at preventing any center that does not provide abortions as being a legitimate health care provider.
He also said all doctors in the city will be forced to perform abortions as part of their training and will not be allowed to object on religious grounds.
The Alliance Defending Freedom is calling for an investigation into Planned Parenthood of Northern New England after saying they are ignoring FDA regulations by distributing abortion inducing drugs past the time approved by the FDA.
Planned Parenthood had been advertising that they can provide the drugs for 14 days longer than the approved time period given by the FDA. Continue reading →
After 18 years of court challenges and political wrangling, a law requiring parental notification for abortions by girls 17 and under is going to go into effect. The Illinois Supreme Court rejected an ACLU appeal against the Illinois Parental Notice of Abortion Act of 1995 which has already been upheld by a federal court.
“We find that, while a minor clearly has an expectation of privacy in her medical information, which includes the fact of her pregnancy, the intrusion on the minor’s privacy occasioned by the Act is not unreasonable,” Justice Anne Burke wrote for the majority. An Alabama law that requires abortion doctors in the state to have staff privileges at a local hospital is being challenged in court by the pro-abortion group Planned Parenthood and the ACLU.

The latest video from a pro-life undercover investigation of abortion clinics in the U.S. has an Arizona clinic admitting they kill babies.
The doctor with Family Planning Medical Associates Group in Phoenix told a 24-week pregnant woman that they “induce a demise – an intrauterine demise – um, death” in a video released by Live Action. The video is the third in a series of six undercover investigations. The previous two videos, one in New York and one in Washington, D.C., included a woman that said they would place a baby inside a jar of toxic substances to make sure it died.
In the Arizona video, the doctor warns the investigator not to visit an emergency room if there is a problem.
“No, call us first,” the doctor said. “If you showed up in an average emergency room with an emergency room physicians who’s not a gynecologist, probably has never seen or done a termination, they will treat you as though you are somebody with a desire pregnancy.”
That means the emergency room staff would try to save the baby’s life.
Live Action is releasing the videos to show that the murders at the West Philadelphia clinic described in the trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell are not exceptions to the rule as claimed by pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood.
