Homicide Bomber Kills Six In Yemen

Rev 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

<blockquote>“Hardly a day goes by when our senses are not bludgeoned by some new outbreak of terrorism in the Middle East.  Despite our best efforts at making and keeping the peace, political, economic, and religious tensions often lead to unrest, violence, and riots.”

A homicide bomber attacked the police academy in the capital of Yemen killing six and injuring dozens.

Islamic militants in the country have been vowing to continue a campaign of terror in what they term “retaliation” for the military destroying terrorist strongholds. Ansar al-Sharia, an al-Qaeda affiliate based in the Arabian Peninsula, claimed responsibility for the murders.

The group attempted to take power when a popular uprising in November ousted the previous regime. However, their attempts to take control were ineffective and the new President vowed to carry out a campaign to eradicate al-Qaeda related groups from the nation.

The government had recently recaptured the provincial capital of Zanzibar, killing hundreds of Islamic terrorists in the process.
