Jesus Statue Dedicated at Lori’s House

On July 3, 2013, proponents of abortion packed into the Texas State House and chanted “Hail Satan” as part of their demands that the Texas government stop their attempts to restrict abortion. In what the staff and supporters of The Jim Bakker Show know is a spiritual battle, this was one of the most blatant showings of Satan’s desire to kill babies in the womb.

On July 4, 2013, Jim and Lori Bakker took another bold step forward for Christ into the battle for the lives of babies. As the construction of Lori’s House continues to progress, the Jesus and the lamb statue that will welcome pregnant women to their new home was dedicated to the Lord and His purpose.

The one-of-a-kind statue has the lamb looking up into the face of Christ, who has his right hand out and open to those walking up the brick path to the Lori’s House door.

The events in Texas just reinforce the need for a beacon of light shining throughout the world like Lori’s House will be upon completion. A place where women can turn their back on the world’s lack of concern for the baby in their womb and receive a safe place to live, medical care, job training and most of all unconditional love and support. They and their babies will be born in a place that knows a child is a gift from the Lord and will celebrate that which the world so routinely devalues.

In addition to the primary purpose of being a safe home for women and their babies, Lori’s House is also designed to be a model to churches and ministries around the world for their own community. If the churches in every community came together to start a home like Lori’s House, imagine the number of babies who would not have to die at the hands of an abortionist’s knife.

You can still support the construction of Lori’s House to expedite the work. Visit our Lori’s House Love Gifts page to see how you can help. Your donations will help fulfill the calling God placed on all of us to care for the fatherless and the widow.

  2. I want you to know how beautiful Lori’s house is. It is a wonderful idea! Girls are so afraid, stressed, have no clue on how to correct the problem. I feel if they would have their baby in the house with all the support that they would find the meaning of life & realize how precious Gods children are. And maybe they will change their way of living. Praise God, He is blessing your work there. I so wish I lived in your area so I could volunteer to help there I am retired now and that would be such a blessing for me.
The Lord be with you, you are in my prayers.

    • Thank you so much for the encouraging word that you have given to me regarding Lori’s House. It is very much my heart’s desire to help these girls have their babies and change their lives. Having an abortion is something that you don’t think is going to change you
but it does for the worst. You never quite get over it, ever.

  3. Your statue is beautiful God lays these beautiful things into your hands Jim Bakker!!!!

I want to buy more food but my husband thinks it is enough for only 3yrs I have tried to tell him we need at least 31/2yr before Jesus comes. I think we need it. Then he asked me if we could share what we have. I told him no. He acted sad but that is why I said we needed more! We are trying to buy alot of things for our survival plans. If we have to “bug out” , we will have to drive 500mi to be safe. Long trip. Hope WE ALL will be safe in our homes
A note: No water? NO toilet. I found a big bucket w a toilet seat & lid for $21 We can put a heavy bag in it & sprinkle some powdered decomposer over it. I was thrilled because a port a potty is $100+ & very heavy & hard to empty. People would be happy for this to be on our list.
I LOVE your show. I watch it every day! Thank you for your love& support
