Seek! (Pt. 3)

Sharon Couchman

Last week I mentioned this would be the conclusion of “Seek” but now I’ve decided there really is no end to this subject! This research started out as one installment but expanded to three! That’s what is so great about our God. As we grow closer to Him, the more there is to know about Him.

Salmo 63:1 – “O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You;"

Go to God first! Continua a leggere

Seek! (Pt. 2)

Sharon Couchman

Let’s learn more about the benefits of seeking our Lord.

God’s Word instructs us to avoid evil. Ma, come? The answer follows:

2 Cronache 12:14 – “And he did evil, because he did not prepare his heart to seek the Lord.” Continua a leggere

Seek! (Pt. 1)

Sharon Couchman

There are many scriptures containing the word “seek” and I would like to share some that are relative for our daily living and essential for these end times.

So many today only seek God’s help in emergencies or when their lives are out of control. In tutta la Bibbia, there are numerous accounts of men and women who sought God when times were difficult and also in times of blessing.

Dio ha scelto Lei!

Clete Snellenberger

Efesini 1:3-6 — "Benedetto sia Dio, Padre del Signore nostro Gesù Cristo, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4) According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, che fossimo santi e irreprensibili davanti a lui nell'amore: 5) Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6) To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. Be Careful What You Think

In Proverbi 4:23 — “Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life.” (NCV) “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” (LND)

In the Greek, the word heart refers to your intellect and will. What that means to me is that it is very important to control what you put and retain in your mind. Does the Scripture not tell us to put on the mind of Christ? We need to think the way that Jesus thinks, to think about the things Jesus thought about and to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. In Giovanni 5:19, si dice, “But Jesus said, Vi dico la verità, the Son can do nothing alone. The Son does only what He sees the Father doing, because the Son does whatever the Father does.” Continua a leggere
