TRUNEWS and RICK WILES Doing Well after Hurricane Matthew

Rick Wiles

By Kami Klein

We have had several people asking as to the welfare of Rick Wiles and his family as well as his team from TRUNEWS located in Vero Beach, Florida.  Last week, the hurricane was forecasted to make a direct hit on Vero Beach, but God was good and the storm headed north and just brushed the area.

From many Facebook posts, we learned that many of the staff at TRUNEWS did evacuate for the safety of their families and so far there are no reports of damage.  On Friday afternoon, Rick did post a quick Facebook comment to reassure all of his friends and family.  truenews
Thank you for all of your prayers for Rick Wiles, his church and family, and for all of the staff that works so very hard at the TRUNEWS Network.

Morningside Welcomes Back TruNews Founder, Rick Wiles

On Friday, November 13th, Morningside welcomes back our good friend Rick Wiles, founder of TruNews, to the Jim Bakker Show. We were thrilled to have him here in September during our prophetic conference where he spoke to us about truly listening to what God is saying. Rick addressed the question of whether the Holy Spirit has stopped talking.

“Where does it say that the Holy Spirit went mute and stopped talking two thousand years ago? There are some people that believe every single thing someone says that God is saying to them, but there has to be discernement. Satan gets in and confuses people. Discernment is key to knowing what God’s voice is.”

Wiles encouraged people to remember that God is talking to us all the time, wanting us to feel close to Him. We expect Him to be yelling out to us with signs and hearing His voice loud and clear, but sometimes we have to listen harder because God is whispering.

“The reason God whispers to us is to beckon to us. If I am speaking to you in a very low whisper you have to get to the place where you are cheek to cheek with me to hear me. The reason God lowers his voice is to draw you closer to him. He is not being silent. You have to turn off the distractions. Society is inundated with distractions. Turn it off and listen to God’s voice.”

We look forward to hearing how God has been working in his life! Taping begins at 11:30am CT on Grace Street. If you are unable to be there in our audience, please watch us via the live feed at Jimbakkershow.com/watch-us-live.

Rick Wiles: “God Is Whispering to You”

Recently, we have been listening to the prophets as we enjoyed our Prophetic Conference September 14 – 18. From morning until night we heard from God, we heard truth being spoken from many gifted voices. On Friday night, our prophetic conference concluded with our special guest Rick Wiles.

Rick Wiles, founder of TruNews, was led to speak to us about truly listening to what the Lord is saying to all of us.

We expect him to be yelling out to us with signs and hearing His voice loud and clear but sometimes we have to listen harder and it is only because God is whispering.

Reminding us too that God is not all flash and signs but desires a personal relationship with us. Every day He is sending His gifts and signs of His love for us, but we are not paying attention. We are not taking that time to spend and listen to what God wishes for us and what He is willing to show our hearts. Rick went on to say,

“People tend to want to know about the dramatic stuff. It’s always on the extreme. God moves in a quiet way and you have to look and listen and discern what God is doing in our lives. If you are going to walk in this time that we are in, you are going to have to listen to the whisper. We shouldn’t need huge signs all around us! We should be hearing his voice! Hearing, discerning and obeying.”

Learning to hear God was what this Prophetic Conference was all about and the amazing speakers found here at Morningside filled us with truly heartfelt revelations of these times. We do hope you will consider ordering these very valuable teachings. This is an incredible DVD set containing all of the show tapings, afternoon sessions and evening services. We wish you could have been here with us but we made sure you wouldn’t miss a single moment!

Rick Wiles, “Prepping is Biblical!”

The first day of our Ready Now Expo had the perfect closing.  Rick Wiles surprised the audience with an inspirational message “The Prepper’s Ultimate Survival Kit.”  Rick discussed why he supports prepping by using the story of Joseph who prophesied to the Pharaoh about 7 years of plenty and then famine. He reminded the audience that Joseph stored food in multiple cities, and asked.  “If Joseph hadn’t stored food, how many people would have died? The fact that he was obedient, kept people alive.”

“We are all learning about the Shemitah and we are living in a time of multiple cycles.” Rick explained. “This could be the return of Jesus Christ, or this could be another historical rollover of cycles. Only God knows the timing.”  He added that whether or not we were entering the Tribulation period, something “monumental” was happening in the world. Because of the many events that are coming, he urged the importance of not only preparing for ourselves, but also for the the generations who will come after us.

“Prepping is Biblical!” Showing his support for Jim Bakker and the ministry, Mr. Wiles stated firmly, “ Pastor Jim has been tenacious and obedient in warning people. And because he’s been obedient…I don’t know how many people have stored food!”

Mr. Wiles was wonderful about helping the audience remember that the ultimate survival Kit is from God.  The best security system is when you have the Lord in your heart and it is His wisdom that will guide you through the worst of times.

Prepping is Biblical.  But, it is most important to prep yourself spiritually.   This message sets the tone of our week together here at Morningside and for the hundreds of people attending our incredible August 2015 Ready Now Expo!
