Rick Wiles, “Prepping is Biblical!”

The first day of our Ready Now Expo had the perfect closing.  Rick Wiles surprised the audience with an inspirational message “The Prepper’s Ultimate Survival Kit.”  Rick discussed why he supports prepping by using the story of Joseph who prophesied to the Pharaoh about 7 years of plenty and then famine. He reminded the audience that Joseph stored food in multiple cities, and asked.  “If Joseph hadn’t stored food, how many people would have died? The fact that he was obedient, kept people alive.”

“We are all learning about the Shemitah and we are living in a time of multiple cycles.” Rick explained. “This could be the return of Jesus Christ, or this could be another historical rollover of cycles. Only God knows the timing.”  He added that whether or not we were entering the Tribulation period, something “monumental” was happening in the world. Because of the many events that are coming, he urged the importance of not only preparing for ourselves, but also for the the generations who will come after us.

“Prepping is Biblical!” Showing his support for Jim Bakker and the ministry, Mr. Wiles stated firmly, “ Pastor Jim has been tenacious and obedient in warning people. And because he’s been obedient…I don’t know how many people have stored food!”

Mr. Wiles was wonderful about helping the audience remember that the ultimate survival Kit is from God.  The best security system is when you have the Lord in your heart and it is His wisdom that will guide you through the worst of times.

Prepping is Biblical.  But, it is most important to prep yourself spiritually.   This message sets the tone of our week together here at Morningside and for the hundreds of people attending our incredible August 2015 Ready Now Expo!

The Expected Unexpected

On Monday morning, April 27th, the people of Baltimore woke to a normal Monday morning.  There was tension in the air from the recent demonstrations that the city had been experiencing. But most families, I would imagine, were not thinking about riots and looting or fires and destruction.  People woke up, had their breakfast, got their children to school and went to work.  Most were not prepared for what was to come. Prepping for Fun!

Proverbs 17:22 A cheerful heart is good medicine but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Months ago, John Shorey mentioned that when you are storing food for difficult times that you must remember “comfort” food.  That is so true and has stuck with me. Having some fun during times of trouble provides comfort as well! Jim and I love to play games and do things together as a family.   Laughter lifts the spirit and brings people together!  When you are preparing for times of trouble, don’t forget to include some items that will bring smiles too!  Continue reading

Ears to Hear

One of the most amazing things we’ve ever done on our show was just recently when we sent Zach down to Texas to talk with a precious couple about their calf. This was no ordinary calf – and it was no ordinary town. The calf was a red heifer born with a “7” outlined perfectly on its head.

You might recall on our recent shows with Rabbi Cahn where he told us of a previous black calf born with a “7” clearly outlined on its face. The Rabbi said this calf was another “harbinger” that confirms that we are entering a time of judgment in this nation at the end of this Shemitah 7-year cycle which is in September. Continue reading

Band of Brothers Prepping

On one of our recent shows, Pastor Scott Hunt came to share his wisdom about being ready for anything in his book, “The Practical Prepper’s Complete Guide to Disaster Preparedness.” There were many things he talked about that really hit home, but the two I want to talk about is: 1) the importance of community; 2) water.

Scott talked of the “Band of Brothers” and the concept of networking and prepping as a community so that everyone brings something to the table.  He emphasized that this is the key to survival in Times of Trouble.  I totally agree with Pastor Scott and have said so many times over many years.  It’s important who you have around you in these Last Days when we can almost count on going through at least some kind of difficulties as the prophecies of Matthew 24 come to pass. Good friends and family (including Church family) should come together and support each other with prayer and practical things. Continue reading

I Am Somebody!

I wondered why somebody didn’t do something. Then I realized, I am somebody. ~Author Unknown

I’ve heard so many people say that this task of getting prepared for disasters is just too much for them. Some have no support or backing whatsoever from anyone in their family, and consider it a daunting task to go it alone. Some have made a gallant start and then run into resistance by financial circumstances or other situations beyond their control. Some wouldn’t be caught dead (pun unintended) prepping, afraid that others would think they were really “out there.” And others have good intentions to do it someday.

But recently, those who have never been preppers before are starting to get prepared now. There’s something going on in people’s hearts that tells them it’s time and no more procrastinating!   Continue reading

What A Time To Be Alive!

There is so much to write to you about that I can’t possibly get it all into one letter, but the main thing I want to tell you is that we have heard from the leading prophetic voices in the Church today, and they ALL believe that, by Fall, we will see a great acceleration of Biblical end-time events. What a time to be alive – what a time to witness! Continue reading
