My First Trip to Heritage USA

by Theron Ventura, Jim Bakker Show Camera Operator

I was honored to be part of the staff that traveled with Pastor Jim and Lori back to Heritage USA.

A month before this trip, I felt God speak to me that something incredible was about to happen. Pastor Jim’s honoring at Daystar along with a strong rumbling in the supernatural all stirred me to think that God was about to move. And He did!

Everyone who went with us to Heritage seemed to have their own personal visitations with God. Mine started in the Upper Room. The moment I walked in, I didn’t want to leave. The presence of God was so peaceful. I had clarity in my spirit, like the day I was saved. The honor of being on camera all three days to witness Pastor Jim’s return to PTL was more than prophetic, it was like a supernatural pivot point on the End of Days timeline. God working through the impossible and proving that He lifts up those who humble themselves became real. Pastor Jim being honored before my eyes proved the Lord God Almighty is in control. My Miracle in the Upper Room

by Zach Drew

A couple of weeks before we left for the Old Heritage USA in North Carolina, I was standing next to Pastor Jim as he was on the phone with a wonderful lady named Julie Pigg. He told her to contact every single network that the Jim Bakker Show was on and ask them to put on Generation NOW.

As soon as he said that, I couldn’t have been more excited! Pastor Jim had also asked me to start writing up a letter to send to the OWNERS of the networks and on the bottom of every single letter he would add a hand written note to those powerful men. If that didn’t say that he supported and believed in Gen NOW, I don’t know what would! So, Andrew Lietzen (the Vice President of Broadcasting) and I started working on these letters and gave them to Pastor Jim so he could start the handwritten notes. Continue reading

Hope has a Heritage in Jim Bakker

It’s hard to imagine how yesterday’s broadcast from the former PTL Studios at Heritage International (formerly Heritage USA) in Fort Mill, South Carolina with Pastor Jim Bakker could get any better, but that’s exactly what happened today.

Jim and Lori were honored as they were joined by hundreds of friends and supporters, some from days gone by at Heritage USA and some from their ministry now in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks.

Special guests in the audience included Ann Green, 101, who came to welcome Jim Bakker back to the restored Heritage studios.  Andy Gazak sang a stirring rendition of “How Excellent is Thy Name” and former PTL singer Derek Floyd sang a song he wrote and produced in 1984, “It’s All Taken Care of (thanks to you).  Kevin Shorey sang “Jesus is a Valley Walker,” a song he wrote as a theme song for Pastor Jim’s current ministry.

Pastor Jim Bakker Comes Full Circle – God Restores!

For the second day, the Jim Bakker Show was broadcast from the former PTL Studios at Heritage International (formerly Heritage USA) in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

“Uncle Henry just introduced me again. Who says you don’t live twice?” Jim said, referring to his co-host of the PTL Show, Henry Harrison, who passed into Glory in 1995!

Jim recalled how Cindy Jacobs, a respected Prophet, had said, “you must do your show from Heritage. This is ‘Full Circle’ – God is making this right! Because this is a sign and a symbol that God restores – worldwide! It took courage for Jim Bakker to come back here but he loves you. God has taken our mourning and turned it into dancing. He has given the oil of joy for spirit of heaviness – he has come to bind up the brokenhearted,” referring to a well-known passage of the Bible from Isaiah 61. Continue reading

Restoration Celebration Comes To The Upper Room

The power of God’s restoration powerfully shone through those at the Upper Room in Fort Mill, South Carolina as Pastor Jim Bakker spoke at the site.

Pastor Jim and Lori Bakker hosted episodes of the Jim Bakker Show from the Upper Room that many people have called the “heart” of Heritage USA. The episodes were introduced for the first time in 25 years by the voice of Henry Harrison, Pastor’s co-host of PTL for many years, who passed into glory in 1995. Continue reading

Restoration At Heritage; Blast From the Past

Dale Hill, Pastor Jim’s first director from 46 years ago at CBN, was able to attend the Restoration Celebration and speak to the Master’s Media students.

He has been working in ministries all these years as a director and honing his craft. Pastor Jim said Dale’s skills were priceless and the lessons learned from him by the Master’s students were immeasurable.

During a session with the students, Melody Hayes said she learned from Mr. Hill that focus and dedication were how he learned with Pastor Jim. Through trial and error for hours and hours on end, they worked many nights perfecting the shows that were unknown in the Christian world. It was uncharted territory for both of them. Hill said that if Your relationship with God is strong enough, then your calling to Him cannot be shaken. Continue reading

An Emotional Return for Kevin Shorey

It was an emotional return to the former Heritage USA and PTL for our own Kevin Shorey. After a seventeen hour bus ride with the Master’s Media students and staff members of the Jim Bakker Show from Missouri to Fort Mill, South Carolina, the exhausted, yet excited group awoke to meet up in the Upper Room yesterday morning to hear from Kevin Shorey and Russell James, former PTL employee who has purchased and is restoring the Upper Room at Heritage International.
